C&p Lasted 15 Minutes Rochester Ny
I posted my 1st topic yesterday about having my C&P today and wanted to start a new thread just because of the way it went. I had my "exam" done at the Rochester NY clinic which is affiliated with the Buffalo NY VA office. My examiner.... I have no clue what she was, doc, nurse, who knows... was a very nice maybe 30 y/o who I think was named Beth. She walked me back to the room, never asking how I was and introduced another mid 20's female who would be observing. Can't remember her name. She literally read off of a check off sheet asking about my knee and low back problems. I answered truthfully and maybe 2 or 3 times I elaborated on the question just because …

Effective Date Of Increased Rating
I did a search, but cant seem to find a common question answered. I put in for a increase for a recent rating. IF approved, is the ED , either, A. the date of my current request or B. date of the recent rating. Example, rating ED is 2006, so would increase 'backdate' to then? thanks. cg

Betrayed & Others
This may have been posted before - but I do not remember seeing it. This comes from M21-1MR and I feel it could affect many claims that are on appeal. It may not seem so important to others but it sure gave my brain a little slap. I have never paid attention to the NOTE they have at the bottom - I enlarged it so it would really stand out. Please give opinions on this specific note dealing with formal hearings, informal confrences and statements contained in the transcripts that qualify as a NOD. Hope this helps many vets. carlie From M21-1MR -- PART 1 -- Chapter 5 Section B. Notice of Disagreement (NOD) a. Definition: Notice of Disagreemen…

Foward To: Berta Or Pete...two Weeks Later And
C&P Psy. Examiner after performing the Psy. evaluation referred my case to a (SW)Social Worker for an out field - inspection, with out any notice. Said In order two gather additional information requested by the C&P Psy. Examiner The (SW) two days after her visiting me at my home, she also interviewed my wife and my mother 15-20 minutes (each) interview by phone. No question as to fact that it is going to take more time for the C&P Psy. to close my case and send it back to the AMC. Does any body have gone through this process before? Berta, Pete any comment or subjections? lu12

Deferred And Confused
I recently received a temporary rating of 100% as a result of surgery related to a service connected decision. Prior to this I had claims pending for depression and anxiety secondary to a service connected back condition and sinusitus. The same letter told me these were deferred but did not state for how long or why. The letter I recieved was from the DAV so it is not the official VA letter. Anyone have ideas as to what is going ob or what I can do?
