How do you know if you are a schedular 100% Am I?
What is the big difference between schedular 100% and 100% via TDIU. I am attaching my 3 relevant rating decisions. In January 2022 they conceded I was 40% for my legs. Last July they rated me at 100%. I had assumed because of everything I have heard about being schedular 100% and getting to 100% via TDIU, that they would say I was a schedular 100%, if indeed I was. It seems to me I am. On the VA disability calculator (and others) my different disabilites when combined equal 100% (95). I filed a request for higher-level review primarily because the dimwit issuing the decision chose to ignore the correct effective date of claim that was determined in January 2022…

VA ER fails to address severe pain. Advised to take Tylenol
I am a 100% disabled vet. I am also a retired registered nurse. Last year I went to the ER at a VA facility when I had a severe exacerbation of chronic lower back pain and siatica. The CT scan revealed severe Foraminal Stenosis in one area along with multiple herniated discs. I was told to take Tylenol and make an appointment with my primary care physician. The pain was so severe I could barely walk. I had to use the rail on the wall to get to and from the ER. I spent the next 3 days in bed with excruciating pain unable to do much of anything. Just getting in bed caused tremendous. I was unable to extend my right leg without severe pain. The solution according to the VA …

11 exams in 45 minutes
Optum Serve performed 11 exams in 45 minutes. I am going to attach them here. I am using a lawyer to help with this, but they told me that the only positive exam was for my knees....After reading through it, there are several questions I don't even recall being asked, yet they clicked no on the answer, for example, see attached. how can I have no flare-ups, but report functional loss or impairment for repeated use? She never asked that question. Of course I have flare-ups. If anybody is bored tonight, read through these pages and give me a your thoughts. If I need to rebut these exams, I need to do it before they make a decision. By the way, while it's a sm…

Claim issues
I have filed supplemental claims for several conditions because the VA left the ratings the same when established in 2011, and most are related to Parkinson's Disease and worsening. I was notified by QTC that I have a few exams, but not understanding why? I am 100% P and T with SMC-S and SMC-K One they are doing Male Reproductive DBQ secondary to DM II Agent Orange. I have been SMC-K continuous since May 2001, and held a DM II rating since January 1998. I claimed Chronic Fatigue (heard nothing since July 2023, diagnosed and meet the 60% criteria) , PN they failed to examine my feet. Restless Leg Syndrome the VA states is related to PN, although they are two unrelat…

Using the VA claims online
Using the online VA claim process. After one thought they submitted all support documents for a claim, and you push the button saying this is all I have, “please start my claim”, only to find out you came across something important to your claim, can you still submit it for review?

Please help me interpret this
Morning folks, long time no post. I just got a call from my C&P examiner, and she had a few questions which I answered. After answering her questions, she did tell me the way she did my DBQ, I should be rated at 100% for Meniere's Syndrome. So, right now I'm 100% P&T BEFORE this latest DBQ is sent to the VA. I'm also SMC-L1. I also have A&A. So given this information, what will a 100% for the Meniere's Syndrome do? Will it possibly bump me up to SMC-O? Thanks. 2-2-0 HOOAH!

Gerd/IBS at 30%
I’m currently rated at 30% for IBS/Gerd. I recently submitted a claim for diverticulitis which I believe would be rated under IBS. My diverticulitis symptoms are quite severe and am fairly certain it will be service connected especially considering my VA Gastro Doc provided a nexus letter. I know IBS is maxed at 30% and Gerd is 60%… So being that my IBS and Gerd are combined, would that mean that with my new Diverticultis (IBS) disability that my rating could be bumped up?

Submit files
Using the VA claim online process, after you submit all your evidence, it asks if you are done and want to pull the switch for it to be reviewed and decided. If for some reason, you find some other things relative to your claim, can you still submit data?

VA Medical Record(s) Sharing
I’ve got questions about the 5-10-15-20 Rule. I am going on 8 years (so far) since my 100% Total & Permanent disability findings and rulings in 2016. I am worse now. However, recently, the VA has gotten VERY aggressive and are trying to get ahold of my medical records (from Medicare) from my non-VA private doctors--after 8 years. I don’t go to the VA for healthcare. They are trying to find away how to access my private doctors’ records since I disabled record(s) sharing. I went into my online VA portal about 9 months ago, and I noticed in the medical records section, they had “sharing” with non-VA providers enabled. However, I changed it to “opt out of shar…
