Salt Lake City Ro
Hello all, has anyone have any dealings or know of anyone dealing with Salt Lake City RO? My initial claim was initiated through the waco RO when I was preparing for my retirement. I got a letter from WACO RO stating that my claim was transfered to Utah because waco was backlogged. I checked enbenifit and my claim shows that it is in the gathering of evidence phase. It has been in this phase for 3 months. I appreciate any and all information that can be provided if possible. Thanks

An Appeal?
Hey guys I have a question. for the life of me I cannot seem to figure ePeggy out. I spoke to them after the new update and Peggy said something that gave me pause. She said something about a 2004 claim that I had in. I do not remember anything about this but vaugly remember something. (I know that sounded strange,) She said that it was an appeal. I may have attempted to enter another claim in 2004 (mental health and stomach issues from Ibuprohen). How do I find this out without sending me to the first stage of claims (lol). Should I simply call peggy back and inquire upon it? Thanks Dearmeat -----

ptsd Research For A Friend
Recently I made a friend who is the grandson of a Veteran. Who is currently recieving benefits for disability. What exactly for Im not sure. However, he went on to tell me that his grand father had nightmares and wasnt sleeping and didnt like to talk about the war, and he could hardly speak anymore. He is 87 years old. And was shot in the back twice during deployment. What I am asking is does he have a case possibly for ptsd? And would his wife be able to file a claim on his behalf due to his current state? Thanks yall, Natalie

Partial Grant Partial Remand
I have received a BVA decision that is partly remanded, and partly awarded, for seperate issues. My question is, do you think they will process the "award" part right away, or will I have to wait to get my retro until the remand is completed. The remand could take months or years to resolve, and since its a seperate issue, I am hoping they will pay me the "award" portion (retro). Has anyone had a partial award partial remand, and did they pay you right away and then take care of the remanded issue or did you have to wait forever?

Still Waiting
Hello Had-It, Well I have passed the two year mark and still waiting on a decision. I had congresstional inquiries from both a senator and a congressman and the VA told them both they were waiting on more evidence from me. Shortly after those responses I recieved the letter from Waco requesting info for the third time that I have sent twice already and is in the copy of the C-file the sent to me last year. I was wondering if any one has had any experience with requesting a claim be expidited due to financial hardship, or getteing a decison from Waco VRO. I met with a local Veterans Benefits councelor here in Dallas and he faxed my request for my claim to be expedited …
