Is P And T Worth Fighting For When I Have 100% Sc Already?
What are the benefits of being rated P and T over just being 100 % SC. I want to know if it is worth the fight. I am scheduled for another exam in three years. Should I just wait for that? I feel if I didn't have a scheduled Exam I could move to Thailand. But I am hesitant because I might not be able to be treated there or have documentation that VA deem valid of my continued SC disability of mental/mood disorder. Any ideas? Feedback?

Question On Ebenefits
Hello All, I check ebenefits yesterday and claim went from pending decision approval to "Decision Notification Sent-Development Letter Sent". It also says appeal is possible. Is this normal wording for all claim resolutions or am I to assume the battle continues? Thanks for any input. My anxiety is kicking in. Bro' Gate

ptsd All I Wanted Was Status!
In June 2012, I went over to the San Antonio VA Benefits Office to get status on the increase for PTSD that I put in 8-2010, and had a C&P 9-2010. He mumbled something, I got pissed and left. I found out on my own that it was at a rater, and was being worked in order. But, I look at EBenefits and it is showing that I put in a request for an increase for PTSD in 6-2012!!!!!!!!!!!!! Have you ever wanted too just slap the crap out of someone? Papa

Major Depressive Disorder
How hard is it to move from 50% to 70%. I have two years of treatment and fit some of the next level of criteria but am uncertain if I want to waste my time filing for a reconsideration or a Nod since I just received the 50% in Febuary 2012 based on a C&P opinion only. Your comments and advice are welcomed.

ptsd What Does This Mean
So I am told that both my gynecological and my anxiety issues are considered service connected, I have not recieved official word yet, ebenefits says it is "pending dispatch" The DAV tells me that now it will be sent back to the RO and I will have to have exams to figure out what the severity is to rate both of these. Anxiety/PTSD was initially filed in 2002, I was denied during this claim and appealed it, will they go back to this date? Gyno was filed in 2006. But I had information in my service record well before this, which date is relevant here??

Anyone Know About Star Review
I got an email from the VA stating my claim was being reviewed by STAR. The email was dated 8/30 & said they were reviewing my claim & there was no time table on how long it would take, but when they were done my claim file would be returned to Boston RO. I received my initial award of 70% on what they considered a reopened claim from 1977 on May 25, 2012. Why would they be reviewing my claim now. I was just getting comfortable. Any insight would be greatly appreciated Thank You, Bob K

Meb. Corneal Scarring. Awaiting Transplant.
How's it going everyone? I am currently on Active Duty in the Navy, and going through the long process of a MEB. I have a few questions based on a service connected disability in my left eye. In Sept. 2011, after arriving home from deployment, my son had accidently poked me in my eye with a plastic sandbox shovel, in turn cutting my cornea up. Long story short, the cornea didnt heal properly with bandage lenses. In Feburary 2012, the cornea had opened back up, and the Navy had sent me to a Civilian Opthomoligist in town. From there the doctor performed a PRK surgery, removing the cornea to help it grow back smoothly and normal. Imediatley after the surgery, I developed…

Confusing Move
I have been at pending decision approval for a couple of days. This is my initial claim. The update says evidence requested is overdue, development letter sent. There are no requests for evidence in Ebenefits or letters other then my AB7 in the documents section. Fortunately my claim is still at pending decision approval. Did this happen to anyone else and should I try to find out what they are requesting so that I can help get the info? My guess is that they will approve part of my claim and defer the rest, but that is just my guess. Take Care

Help Please! How To Add A New Condition To An Meb
I am currently going through the proccess of an MEB for a corneal scar in my left eye. (In need of transplant) I just recently got seen by a flight surgeon, which he refferred me to a mental health clinic. From there I talked to a psychiatric provider. I went and got a copy of all of his doctor notes, and it states he thinks I have moderate bi - polar / anxiety issues. I go back for a follow up this upcoming Tuesday. HERES THE CATCH: my last VA appointment is tomorrow. What would I need to do to add this new condition in with my MEB? Any help you be greatly appreciated.
