tdiu 60% And Tdiu
Ok folks, I need some opinions. First of all, I'm rated 60% for a unsuccessful surgery on my total knee replacement back in 08'. Back in 2010 I filed a claim for TDIU due to the knee and was denied stating I could sit behind a desk and work. I then filed an NOD and finally had my C&P exam this morning. During the exam the Dr said my bionic knee had come loose, which I figured something was, cuz it was making it go snap, crackle and pop all the time. Does anyone have any opinions on this being granted IU? Coot

Educational Benefits
"A financial slap in the face for military veterans By Chance Johnson | RMSMC Updated: 01/22/12 11:02pm Of all the cheap ways for the government to save a buck: starting this semester, military tuition assistance has been reduced from 100 percent to 50 percent. What should make you even more enraged is that unless you are a veteran, this is likely the first time you’ve read this. Let’s just imagine that welfare was cut by as little as five percent. Do you honestly think that this wouldn’t dominate the news? Bleeding hearts everywhere would be up in arms. But where are they now?" Tuition Covered Under Chapter 35? Child Of Deceased 100% Vet.
As so many posts start off, Berta seems like the expert on this and I hope she has the time to answer. Step-dad was 100% P&T, died of service connected issue. His widow (my mom) and daughter get Survivors comp from VA. She is graduating from high school in June. She has been accepted at Michigan State University (she is a NY resident) as a pre-med student. My mom and I had been under the impression that Chapter 35 pays the entire tuition for widows/dependents of deceased 100% vets. What we are being told by VA's Education side is, no, you (she) get $957 a month while enrolled in approved schooling and that is all. I have read on here about people (Berta, you …

New Disability Questionaires - Or Is This Old News?
Greetings all: I was doing some on-line research on sleep apnea and how the VA defines Cor Pulmonale and came accross a new series of disability questionaires, that appear to have been submitted in the federal register last June. Has anyone heard about or been asked to use these new forms? I will attach the ones for Sleep apnea and Osteoarthritis spine. I think the forms do a better job of defining level of disability and I suspect that the way the are formatted might be geared to artificial intelligence interpretation. I have not looked at them from the stand point of if the questions are slanted towards denial or approval, lowball vs proper rating. One thing t…

Dd 214's
All, When I enrolled/registered into the VA system in 08 I had 4 DD214's on file on eBenifits Service Verification (AB7). When my second claim was complete on 6/2011 I looked on eBenifits for my AB7 and it for some reason only showed 3 DD214's. So when I went in for my new claim 9/2011 I told my CSVO that I was missing a DD214 and gave her a copy of the missing one. She told me she would forward, etc. Well in November, I checked eBenifits and my AB7 now shows only 2 DD214's. At this rate I should be out of the VA some time around April 2012. Ha, ha... Anyway, I called my CSVO and told (showed) her that I only have 2 DD214's on record now, even though there are…
