Ssd, Getting You Started On Your Research
I have a website entitled howtoassemblevaclaims.com. It is intended to guide veterans/dependents in researching, organizing and assembling a va claim/appeal. Right now, revisions are with the web designer. Included is information on Social Security Disability pertaining to Job Description. Because I know a lot of you will never access my site, I am including here, an excerpt from what will eventually be added to it. My only concern is to help veterans, whether you go to my site or read it here. Either way is fine with me. I wish you success. fanaticbooks EXCERPT from revision eventually going on howtoassemblevaclaims.com ********************************…

? For Berta Re: Lejeune Water
In response to my last post... Berta, Here's the thing. Normally, kidney tumors that are cancer (and most of them are) occur in only one kidney. Art had tumors in BOTH kidneys. When they occur in both, it is either genetic or environmental. The doctors at the Cleveland Clinic suspected he had Birt-Hogg Dube Syndrome, which is a rare genetic disease. They sent him for thorough testing at the National Institutes of Health in Bethesda, MD. After two lengthy visits there over a span of two years, and DNA testing of his tumors, they RULED out a genetic component. We have all the paperwork. What does BVA stand for? Thank you!!!

%'s Of Remanded Claims Approved?
I was wondering if anyone knew the percent of claims won after being denied at the ALJ level? I'm sure it's small. Most Vets seem to say SSDI was easier than VA claims, especially after being awarded 100% but that has not been my experience. With 100% P&T decision AND a decision that I'm not competent to handle my finiances (with the two C&P Doctors reports to go with them) I was denied by the ALJ. I did send it for review and won a remand. Getting a remand is a low percentage as it is. But, even with overwhelming evidence, I know Judges are not in the habit of overturning each other. So I'm on the fence on this one. If this fails, the only step left is a la…

100 P&t And Ssdi For Same Conditions
Hello I was just awarded P&T status. How many people here have been approved for SSDI just based on being 100% P&T? Anything I can do to improve my chances of getting approved based on the P&T status? Thanks for all the help and input.

100% disabled filed for ssdi
Hi. I am 100% disabled from the Army. Non p&t, but I've been disabled for almost 8 years now. I filed for social security August 2019. I am still on the initial phase and I just had my psych eval. I tried working at the post office, but I ended up getting fired for not being able to properly deliver parcels on several occasions. I have been on and off work every other 6 months or so. I went back to school, but failed my classes after graduating community College. I'm 29, and employed making about 700$ a month. My condition is psychosis schizophreniform 100%, and ptsd. Do I have a chance?

100% P/t (why Bother)?
Hey All, Help me to understand this one. You are rated 100% p/t but one of your sc conditions has worsened, possibly enough for an individual 100% alone, not SMC eligible, why bother going for an increased rating? Am I missing something here or is there additional compensation available? jmack

100% P&T Vet trip to the ER
I had a fall about a month ago which resulted in an ambulance ride to the ER. The bills are starting to come in, one I already paid. I have no other insurance but was reading that the VA should pay for the associated medical bills. Can anyone help me out here with some information? I haven't had a trip to the ER for decades and have not a clue how the process is supposed to work for 100% vets. Thanjk you very much!

ptsd 100% Pt, Current Civil Service; Would/can I Benefit From Ssd?
I'm once again overwhelmed and confused, as I was when I started my claim for increases in 2010. So, HADIT is where I come to find answers, so I'm hoping someone can help out. I've been searching for threads that may fit my situation for a couple of days and couldn't find anything, so I figured I'd just start a new one. My particular info: I was found 100% P/T September last year. I have a 70% PTSD/Depression rating along with 30% asthma and multitude of 10-20% ratings for cervical spine/lumbar spine/knees/flat feet etc. I'm 52 and currently a FERS civil servant GS-13 (Analyst) coming up on my 10th year of civil service (June 2014) after 24 years of AD. I'…

100% Rated Veterans Automatic Ssdi
The link below goes to the bill that was proposed last year by Sarbanes from MD and his 74 co-sponsors for some reason it has not been acted on yet and is sitting at the committee "ways and means" I think this would help a lot of veterans including myself who is worn out fighting with the VA for their rating and then have to fight the SS for SSDI for basically the same condition. I would like to see this passed this year. If you agree please send a email to your senator/congress person and ask for their support on this. Thank you, Stillhere http://thomas.loc.gov/cgi-bin/query/z?c111:H.R.4054:
