State of Illinois Department of Veterans Affairs STATE OF ILLINOIS VETERANS' BENEFITS BONUS PAYMENT World War II. A bonus of $10 per month for domestic service and $15 per month for foreign service is payable to a veteran who was a resident of Illinois at time of entering service, served at least 60 days on active duty between September 16, 1940 and September 3, 1945, and received an honorable discharge. I have watched for years now our 100% PT Service Connected Disabled Veterans, who served our Country, served her proudly and through no fault of their own, were injured, honorably discharged and unfortunately unable to have the opportunity to committ to a 20 year career and now being passed over and denied again and again, the benefit to be eligible for the DoD's Space A Travel Program while other non uniformed service personnel whom never served, get added into the Eligibility Categories as if they were the cat's meow! FYI: Did you all hear that there was a new law passed for any disabled veteran 70% or higher? Yep! If you are 70% or higher, and your state participates, you don't have to pay property taxes anymore. Yep! We (my husband is 70%) got our letter in the mail the other day and I'm been turning kart wheels and back flips ever since. Google your local chief county assessment office and do a search for the new information on their website. Below, is the information that showed up on our county website. I'm in Illinois. Governor and put in law bill 3613 exempting from real property taxes at varying tax rates all property disabled vet owners, bill says effective 2010, Governor back dated to2009. Appraisall districts mailed forms required to be filed 7/23/2009. Law Attached Ausgmblr

I have filed claim for t.b.i. Records from St.Louis, Mo were never requested by V.A. In 1970 i told examier that i had a conussion St.Louis stated no one every requested my records but me.Due you thank i will get retro back to 1970.I am know 100%p&t What kind of rateing due you think i will get.Polytrama told me to file?
