I Need A Battle Plan.
I sent a letter of reconsideration in and was put on Administrative Review. On e bennies it says Under Review. I have been told when you file a NOD, you are on a time table with the VA. My question is, is it the same with a letter of reconsideration? Am I now on the clock? I just want to make sure I don't forfeit any options because I miss a timetable I'm not aware of. Any help on suggesting a next move would also be greatly appreciated. Thanks guys.

Knee Replacement
So I will be scheduled for a TKR in the next few weeks, there is just nothing more that they can do to repair it. I will be going to a private Doctor, only because he did two of my previous knee surgeries. I already talked to the VA hospital and was told as soon as I have a date for surgery to call them so that they can get a change to my rating. I know that you go to 100% for a year after a TKR, but what happens after that? Just a reevaluation? Also if you have had this procedure and have any advice for a speedy recovery I would welcome that! I am also looking forward to being able to walk and stand up without grunting in pain! If It Happened During Combat They Supposed To Believe It Did
I know that there is a law that says if something happened to a soldier during combat operations. the VA is SUPPOSED to take it at face value and apply it as the truth to try and help you develop your claim. Heres what happened to me during gulf war one. We were stationed at the port near the sea. We were in large metal buildings awaiting missions to haul m1 abrams tanks across the desert . There were thousands of us in the port area on cots set up in the huge warehouses. We had primitive showers ser up out side the building. One night I was in the shower, and heard the loud sirens start whining like a firetruck. I was in the shower with soap app over my head and my …

Please Help Decipher Va Response To Claim Submitted
This is from the VA response I received addressing my claim for PFB. Service connection for pseudo folliculitis barbae has been granted because this condition, which existed prior to military service, permanently worsened as a result of service. The difference between disability evaluations before and after military service determines the degree of disability subject to service connection. Prior to service, the disability is considered 10 percent disabling based on evidence that showed pseudo folliculitis barbae on neck and chin. Following military discharge, the disability is 10 percent disabling because the evidence shows pseudo folliculitis barbae on neck, throat, …

Anemia Denied
My claim was put in 2 months after being released from the vamc hospital after being inpatient for 5 days due to my iron deficiency anemia going to 7.3 hemoglobin levels , I was dizzy , shortness of breath , fatigued, and tachycardia. I could not even hold my head up. I received 2 blood transfusions my level was 9.8 when i left the hospital, I was anemic in the service but when I got my denial letter it said something funny. " Service Connection denied because the medical record fails to show that this disability has been clinically diagnosed. The evidence does not show a current diagnosed disability. Va examiner noted that your iron deficiency ( anemia) has resolve…

Need Help Please!
I recently received notification on the E benefits website that I had been approved for 100%, but it was conditional. In other words, the increase is temporary until December 1, 2013. I guess a decision will be made between now and then as to whether or not my claim award should be made permanent. Should I appeal this temporary status right now, or should I wait until the decision is made on December 1? Should I appeal to the BVA or to the regional office? If I appeal, will the current rate, 100%, remain in effect until the case is decided? Thanks in advance for any help. It is truly appreciated!
