C&P Exam QTC Doctor didn't turn in results
Hi Everyone 😀 I filed my claim in February and did my mental health C&P exam in March with a QTC doctor. I have been checking on the status with the VA and thought it was slow... trying to be patient. I guess I didn't understand the VA was saying that they hadn't received my C&P exam results. So in June when the VA told me explicitly, the VA said I had to call QTC to find them myself. Apparently, QTC could not get a hold of the Dr and sent me a letter that they would be doing a desk review of submitted medical records (VA and civilian?). Is that ok? Will this help or hurt me you think? I feel annoyed that the VA didn't figure this out. Thanks!…

VA Claim Deferred After C&P for IMO and Higher Evaluation?
Hi, new to the forum and thank you in advance if you can provide any insight. I talked to the VA today because I was confused about my claim, they approved part of my claim and deferred the other half of it. I searched a lot of post here and being deferred is normal for the va, but what confused me was why they deferred it. The reason they deferred my TBI was because they wanted a IMO (independent medical opinion) and also flagged my TBI and major depression for higher evaluation and entitlement. I had a C&P for both of these months ago, plus many pages from C file and from tricare to support my claim. My questions are: - I though you h…

Back Exam
Currently 10% for lower lumbar. Going through my VA medical records and found where my VA doctor documented doing a back exam on me in June 2013. The exam results he documented in my medical record would justify increasing me to the 20% rate. Has it been too long to try and do anything with that exam? Put in for an increase and back date to the June 2013 exam? Thanks.

Higher level review
After higher level review, VA is correcting 3 errors. Letter states that VA is developing for a examination to consolidate conflicting information about my mental health condition. I have a C&P Friday. What should I expect in this one?

Need More Veterans with Legacy Appeals
OK everyone follow me on this please, With the new law that Veterans can have "class action lawsuits against the VBA" I am looking for several Veterans that still have a legacy appeal that is over 18 months old. 1. My legacy appeal to the board was certified to the board on NOV 2017. 2. February 2019 I was informed that my appeal would be completed "SOON". 3. March 2019, refused to move into the AMA system since my appeal was to be competed "soon". 4. DATA collection from the VBA docket completion shows over 1000 AMA appeals completed to 1 Legacy appeal. 5. DATA/Numbers of reported appeals completed on all data points from the VBA do not match or…

New C&P exam from same Doctor
Here is my question: Has anyone had a C&P exam, doctor writes an unfavorable opinion about your condition and you get denied service connection. Next you turn in a supplemental claim they deny that new evidence. Next you go to a higher level of review and VA finds error and then sends you a letter telling you this occurred during the claim process. Now today VES the third party contractor for VA currently doing C&P exams with their pool of doctors. Low and behold the same doctor who wrote me a negative opinion last time is scheduled to a new exam. I'm really feeling uneasy about seeing the doctor again for a few reasons. First he was very abrasive with words with …

Summery of Benefits Letter after an RFE Exam (Re-Eval) Is this my award letter?
I just had my re-eval for a claim I had a few months ago, and now I got a summery of benefits letter in the mail from regional VA. It shows my "effective date of the last change to my current award" which is "DEC 1 2019" and its the same percentage ive always had. I didn't get any fancy manila envelope this time like the initial C&P exam (This was a 5 year re-eval) So is this the letter saying my percentage is staying the same or is this something everyone gets and I should wait for something else? Not sure what I should receive after an RFE exam.

VES called for appointment - Insomnia, Anxiety, and Depression - What to expect?
I was just contacted by VES regarding my secondary claim of anxiety and depression due to my SC left knee. I had used my DX of insomnia from my STR in my statement I submitted with the claim to link to the time frame of my knee issue. The VA seems to have added in Insomnia to the anxiety and depression claim? Not sure how that will go, but I am just waiting on the paperwork in the mail to tell me the date and time of appointment now. The last time I did any C&P exam was in 2012 or so at the local VA hospital. This VES contractor is new for me. Anything I should know/bring going in? Thanks!

prostate approved
Hi Everyone. Rec'd approval for prostate cancer due to service connection with Herbicide exposure. They gave me 20% after my C&P exam. I told them I have go get up at night to use the bathroom 3-4 times and have to use bathroom during daytime every 2-3 hours. They stated I would have gotten a bigger increase if I used the bathroom 5 times at night and every hour during the daytime. It already causes a inconvenience getting up 3-4 times at night and looking for a bathroom while out in public. Can I appeal the decision they made? If so, what do I need to write up for the appeal? Thanks for your support.

Anyone have 2 C&P exams for the same issue
I am stressed and desperate for answers. I filled a claim for PTSD and anxiety relating to MST(Military sexual trauma). I had a C&P exam with a VA doctor. Fast forward I one month. I received a letter in the mail that VA is scheduling another exam for me with a private facility. Why would VA make me go through this again? It was tough to even get through the first exam. I can't believe I have to relive this crap again. I'm hoping this is a good sign. Anyone else have this happen, and what did it mean for you?

Dbq to differentiate PTSD and tbi social occupational impairment
My claim went back to gathering of evidence after I had my second c&p exam for tbi initial. My vso the Dav said it was a dbq to differentiate the symptoms of tbi and PTSD as far as social and occupational impairment. I recieved at least as likely as not on all exams, PTSD, both tbi exams. Has anyone experienced this or know what it means? Is this a good sign my claim will be granted ? Thank you.
