ptsd C&p Needs Clarification What Does This Mean?
ok the file went from prep for decision to gathering evidence. Here is why and what does this mean? Does this mean they will deny me benefits completely? COMPENSATION AND PENSION EXAMINATION REPORT (FREE TEXT) ======================================================= REQUEST Previous examiner provided a level of occupational and social impairment of: Occupational and social impairment with deficiencies in most areas, such as work, school, family relations, judgment, thinking and/or mood; however it was reported that 60% was attributed to PTSD and 40% was attributed to biploar disorder. This is not sufficient for rating purposes. Please provide the veteran's level of oc…

Medical And Audiology C & P's Next Week
I am finally scheduled for a C & P for my Tinnitus and they scheduled me for a Medical C & P as well. What can I expect to happen during these exams? This is the third time trying to get rated for Tinnitus but first time for what I hope is an actual C & P for tinnitus. I have also applied for sleep apnea, is this what the medical C & P is for? A little background on me, I was a Fuels Specialist in the Air Force for nine years. I was constantly around jet engines, loud fuel trucks and loud fuel equipment. The tinnitus became constant in my left ear towards the end of my time in. I would mention it to the person doing the hearing exams but they would…

Sleep Apnea
My appeal for sleep apnea has a five year old effective date in April. I originally filed for the claim in April 2010. I had a C&P examiner that either doesn't do her job at reading STRs or just had something against my claim which is be. The examiner should do what the law says and her job entails. She stated that there was no mention of my sleep disturbances and excessive snoring or waking up at night having to readjust in order to breath. However after the denial I sent evidence of just that to the BVA. They decided to remand it back to the RO with these instructions If the September 2010 examiner is available request that the VA examiner offer an addendum opinion…

Find Lost C And P Exam
Hello, Have a claim that was started Mar 2012. My C and P exam was in September of 2013 in Los Angeles at a contracted facility. In December of 2013 i received my decision which was a denial of benefits because they say i refused to go to the C and P exam. The thing is i went to the exam they just lost it. I haven't been contacted once about it by the v.a. I filed the NOD in Dec and they lost that. They have one on record for March of 2014, which was the third one i sent in. I live in San DIego and can't figure out anything at the V.A because i worked there for a few months on Work study. I'm just wondering how the hell can i get a copy of that C and P exam or …

Last C&p Yesterday.
Well I had my last two c&p's yesterday at the augusta va. One was for memory loss which turned out to be for my depression and the other for joint pains which I've claimed since 95 and was always denied with no c&p. The mental c&p I think went very well. The doc was kind, cheerful and and to my disbeliefe said was here to help the veterns get a good rateing. He said that he would service connect my depression and said in his words (Your giong to get something but i don't think it will be enough to retire). I thought that was positive. My other c&p was for joint pains and hip pain and to be honest i almost walked out on that one, because she was a pra…

C And P Exam Last Friday
I had a combination of a GW exam and C&P for my Scars, Sinus and intestinal conditions. The GW was the brief exam. Told the provider all the immunizations that I took, burning oil fields exposed to and nightmares and fatigue. at this point I'm not sure what to expect from the GW exam One item i want to point out is the Intestinal condition exam. she looked at the several Gastroenteritis treatments during and after service( to included a DX of Hemorroids during and after service). The provider made a comment that i "should receive disabiltity for my IBS" and it looks like the provider documented a dx of IBS. I also i noticed that in 2012 i was dx with Ulceration of…

I recently (Oct 14) filed a claim for increase for degenerative arthritis currently rated at 10 percent and increase for Plantar Fasciitis currently rated at 0 percent, and I asked for service connection be established for flatfeet bilateral secondary to SC Plantar Fasciitis. diabetes Question About C&p Exam
My father had a C&P exam for a claim to get some secondary condtions to Diabetes and PVD secondary to heart disease. The doctor wrote that his METs are 3-5 on an interview-based METs test. ptsd Multiple C&ps In The Next 2 Weeks, And Up For Review Already!
I am freaking out as I have multiple C&Ps coming up in the next few weeks. What is driving me crazy is that I was informed by Ft Worth VA that one of the Exams is for a PTSD review, WTH. Per VA paperwork I am due for Review in Feb 2016 for PTSD, Crohns and Scars, not Feb of 2015. Then the VA stated that when I had my C&P last year with the VA Audiologists for Hearing Loss and Tinnitus, the Exam Doc listed in his notes for me to be reviewed by ENT DR for unknown condition, what does that mean, have I been walking around for the last year with some unknown medical condition that should have been treated. Then one exam was just canx due to a Doc's family member passi…

ptsd Ptsd C And P Exam Question
Hello everyone. I've been lurking on this page for quite awhile and decided to finally posy myself. I had a PTSD C and P on 01/15/2015, I cannot post the whole report because I do not have access to myhealth.va.gov yet. I picked up the paper copy today from the VA and this is what the final paragraph on the last page states: Mr. Brown is a 30 year old, engaged, caucasian, NSC, male veteran of the Army National Guard who was seen on 01/15/2015 for an original PTSD C and P examination. Based on review of the veteran's medical records, VBMS record, interview, and objective testing, the results of this evaluation suggest that the veteran does presently meet diagnostic…
