ptsd Reevaluation of PTSD award so soon?
So, I was rated 70% PTSD in June of 2015. I subsequently submitted another claim for other conditions shortly thereafter. Today, I got a call to schedule some C&P exams. I scheduled them and then inquired about what they were for. One is for my knee condition. The other was a reevaluation of my PTSD (that was rated less than 6 months ago). Should I be worried? I work a full-time job and my wife is my caregiver when I'm not at work. The caregiver office at my local VA hospital told my wife that I shouldn't be working if I was 70% PTSD, so do you think the caregiver office alerted the BVA somehow? Thanks, Kevin

ptsd Inadequate C and P Exam
I had my C and P Exams yesterday at VA Clinic in Pensacola Fl None of the three examiners had read my C-File. Two were pros. The Mental Health examiner was unprofessional, condesending, brusque and out of sorts. She did not follow VA policy re using a checklist or template like DBQ. She was incredulous at my claim that I held in my trauma and mental health for 40 years as I protected my 27 career as an officer. Yet VA has conducted Vietnam Studies that show chronic PTSD in Vietnam vets and that there is now a surge in Vietnam vet claims. What or how to I file a protest against the examiner before VARO gets her report?

Reminder that your exam starts in the waiting room lobby
I was reviewing 2015 BVA decisions regarding the New Orleans RO, and came across the following. I'm on a tablet and can't cut and paste the section, but scroll down to the second paragraph above the "Order" section. You'll find that this veteran's carriage and demeanor when she was called from the waiting room found its way into her C & P exam report and then into the BVA decision. http://www.va.gov/vetapp15/Files2/1512277.txt Always remember, your exam starts the moment you enter the exam facility. If you're there for a spine exam, your posture in the chair you're seated in, in the lobby, may very well be noted. There's plenty of literature on exams here at hadit…

Another Shoulder CP Exam -Challenged Last One
Folks: Recently, I spoke about a Cardiac Exam and Ear Exam that were done improperly than later to find major medical problems existed. The Cardiac CP Exam was completed by a local contracted Doctor whom is listed as a local "Family Practitioner"? The main issue is that none of the information on the Cardiac pre-exam sheet that I was required to fill out was ever used? I would have thought that I would have at least been sent to a Cardiologist whom is a specialist in such things? Anyway, the final outcome was a lowball rating of 10% for Hypertensive Heart Disease? Unfortunately, that diagnosis disagrees with another diagnosis done in the Army 15 years ago which painte…
