ptsd C&p Exam Today - Ptsd Is This Normal? When Can I See Notes From Exam?
So I had my C&P exam today and it wasn't has bad as I thought which has me worried. First question is how long does it typically take to show up on in My Health "Blue Button" if I had the exam at a VA facility? Second: During the exam they never went through a checklist of symptoms and the diagnostic questions my Psych Doctor asked me. Should I be concerned? They asked me about growing up, education, military service, work history since getting out of the military in 1996. Then she asked about what happened for scenario 1 and scenario 2. I couldn't talk and go through it all verbally so I had to hand her a written statement I had prepared in case i froze, which I di…

States Requiring Individual Unemployability (Iu) Certification
Hi all, I was wondering about a letter I received from the VA. It says for IU that "The Veteran must periodically cerify continued unemployability, but if there is no scheduled future reduction or medical examination required, he/she may be considered by some states to be permanently and totally disabled." Does anyone happen to know what states those are? I have TDIU and was wondering if I should expect a C&P in the future, even though its been 4 years without one. Thanks!

ptsd Decision & Claiams File Dispatch
After waiting 3 years in appeal, I finally had my C&Ps on Dec 4 and Dec 10 (neuropathy and PTSD). Today I noticed on EBenefits that my appeal shows: Decision & Claims File Dispatch: This indicates that BVA mailed the decision to you (and your representative, if any) and transferred your case to another location. I spoke with BVA and they indicated my file had been sent back to the RO for the "authorization stage". I never got a letter from BVA. I know all of this is a process where patience is required but just interested of anyone's experience with this stage in the process. semper fi phil (email me if you like at plhusmc@gmail.com)

C & P Gone Wrong
Hello Everyone, I have a question, I recently had another C&P for an increase of my SC Bipolar disorder which has been SC since 2005. However, the Dr. staed this time that my SC Bipolar is not related to my military service. My question is why would she say that when the exam was not for that but for an increase. Since being SC for Bipolar I have been awarded SSDI soley based on my SC Bipolar Disorder. Also, I have been hospitalized four time this past year 2013-2014 for my Bipoar Disoder. The question is will this take away my SC Biploar which is currently rated @ 30%. Also I requsested another C&P exam. Dr. stated that my service treatment records were not a…

ptsd Gulf War Exam And C&p For Sa, Scars And Sinus
Have New Year to you all! I'm 70% connected ( 50 for PTSD, 10/10 leg radiculopothy and 10 for DDD) I have a GW exam and C&P for SA Scars and sinus as part of my claim next month. I was told it will be a three plus hour event. First things first, I have Gastroenteritis well document throughout my active duty days BUT not rated as part of my disability. I have copies of all my AD treatment records that should prove this diagnosis. I even continued to be seen for GI issues at the VA and had a colonoscopy done. QUESTION......Should i mention the GI stuff during the GW exam? Should I also mention the chronic sinus/Upper respiratory issues I dealt with during and well…

Urinary Stress Incontinence (What Constitutes An Appliance)
I am waiting for a C&P eval for my urinary stress incontinence. My urogynecologist provide me with a IME, stating that I have stress incontinence associated with childbirth while on active duty. I have also been fitted with a pessary ring to help with the incontinence. Is a pessary ring considered an appliance? If so, I should get a 60% rating.

Increase In Va Rating
I am a 20 year retired vet and receive retired pay. I was also rated by VA at 50% in 2006. Today I received a letter stating I am now at 80% based on a re-evaluation I started July 2013. So my question is: will my retired pay stay the same and my VA compensation increase? This is a very confusing document.

Ptst C&p Exam --
I have PTSD and diagnosed as bi-polar too. Personally, I think the bi-polar is not correct but, hey, I'm not a doctor. I missed my C&P exam in Houston TX in Oct 2011 (I moved back to Florida in August 2011 and did not get the notice). ANyway, I got notice in Dec 2011 that my claim for PTSD had been denied because I missed the exam. I went to my county VA office and the "&D&&" filed to wrong request -- he filed an appeal instead of requesting my case be reopened and requesting a new C&P date. Fast forward 3 years and here I am. I had my C&P exam this last Wednesday and personally don't know how it went. The doc was very straight laced with no…
