ptsd Q About Medications For Ptsd And C & P Exam
My friend is going into a for a C & P Exam for PTSD. He is in on multiple medications (anti-psychotic, anti-depressants, anti-anxiety) just to function and hold down his job. Will these count against his rating? (ie able to function at work every day because he has all these meds) Should he stop taking the meds a few days before the exam so they see with greater clarity his condition without meds? Thanks in advance,

Question On Remarks Section On C&p Exam - Spine
Hello all. This is my first post but I have been lurking for a while and appreciate all the great advice from this network. I received a copy of my C&P exams and was hoping for opinions on my spine ROM measurements. The examiner indicated my forward flexion ends at 60 degrees with pain at 40 degrees. On the section marked "Is there functional impact of ability to work?" he marked <YES> stating "The impact of the thorocolumbar spine condition on the claimants ability to work is moderate impairment for physical work and mild for sedentary work". In the remarks section he indicated "There are contributing factors of pain, weakness, fatigability, and/o…

C&p Exam
I recently had an C&P exam at my local VA HOSPITAL for my back and Fibro. When the NP asked me about my back how far I can move I told her I had difficulties bending. I thought she would use a tool to measue me but she never did. Is this normal to not to use a tool? I had my ROM measured by a Chriprator a few weeks before that and it was allot worse then what she mesaured me at.

Back C&p Exam Today
So i had a c&p exam today. It was for a 5 year review to see if my back condition has improved or worstened. My back has been giving me tons of problems lately, where I had to go to the Emergency Department a few days ago because of the bad spasming and barely being able to walk. Upon my visit at the ED, the doctor prescribed anti inflammatories and Vicodin, and also he prescribed me to use a walker. I usually walk with a cane, but with the back issues i've been having leg weakness. *She stated she would copy the ED report to be viewed with my file So i arrive at the c&p exam, and I had a physician assistant, that I've had before a long time ago for …

Time Frame From C&p To Ro ?
Just wondering if there is a set time limit to get the results from your C&P to your RO? My C&P was the 22 July 14 and they are still requesting the information from QTC. I'm thinking that they lost it!!!! What can I do if they can't find it? This is crazy!!!

ptsd Recent Ptsd C&p
So first off I wanted to say hello to everyone, and without all the help i've had from lurking this site the last few months, I would have given up a while ago. Anyways, I recently had a comp exam for a ptsd claim that I filed in March of 2014. I got my results today on MyHealtheVet, and have no idea what to make of it. Mainly i'm concerned because it says that my claim file wasn't reviewed, and I'm worry that may cause it to be inadequate. I'm also concerned because I've only recently started treatment at my VA clinic (the day I went in was actually the day two of my brothers were killed in afghanistan), and I'm worried that since I don't have a long record of …

C&p Severity Examination While In The Middle Of Bva Appeal
Hi, I just received a letter from the VARO stating that I should be receiving a letter for the scheduling of a C&P Exam to re-evaluate the severity of my current disability (lumber cervical issues, and flat foot conditions). I also am in the middle of an appeal with the BVA, I've already had my Live Video Conference Hearing on March 11, 2014, (the judge requested more current records, which I had submitted by April 11, 2014), still my current status says File is with Veterans Law Judge. My condition has actually gotten worst with the back issues, so is this good or bad? Also is this weird to get a c&p exam for reevaluation of disability, and be in the middle of…

hypertension C & P For Ihd
Hi everybody thanks for the help you all give veterans on this forum. I have a question about IHD, Hypertension, etc. I am a 33 yo vet and I went to the VA a few months back with chest pains which I suffer from them daily and take isosorbide and nytro daily. They gave me a stress test and told me to keep going until I felt that I was going to pass out, so I was only able to keep going for about some minutes resulting on 7.3 MET's. Now could I be able to take the test again because I don't feel like it was fair and I got pushed to do more than I could. I am copying and pasting the results of my C&P for IHD can anyone give me some advice please? Sorry if the messa…

ptsd Qtc C&p Ptsd Exam
Hello, I'm new to posting and a new member but I've been reading your site for quite some time. Today I went to C&P PTSD exam at a private practice psychiatrist arranged by QTC. I am active-duty and have been in for 24 1/2 years. I have recently been entered into the medical board (IDES) process and I'm assigned at the warrior transition battalion (WTB) until I retire. This "exam" seemed anything but. The "doctor" entered the room in nursing scrubs, never introduced himself, and started asking me questions. He never even asked the "how are you doing today " question. When he asked how long I had been diagnosed with PTSD and TBI, I told him my first visit was in Sep…
