ptsd Is A C&p Required For Va Diagnoised Ptsd?
I am wondering if my husband will likely undergo a C&P (with a non-VA doctor) for PTSD if has been diagnosed and is currently under treatment by a VA mental health doctor who he has appointment with every 2 weeks at the VA hospital. I am just concerned for my husband's stress level meeting a new doctor and having to explain his stressors (the combat events) again! Just wondering... thanks.

ptsd Exam
I filed for PTSD by MST back in September 13. They were giving me the run around about missing paperwork and stuff. This after confirming twice with them if they received it and they said yes. Well 2 weeks ago, after giving me another BS story I wrote a nasty email to them on Ebenefits via IRIS and stated I'm going to contact my congressmen for all the BS and lies they keep on feeding me. I received two brown envelopes this week...one to sign and return some paperwork and the second for a Mental eval with a civilian Dr! Do you all think it's my C and P exam? I sure hope so. Looks like my email worked! I have been diagnosed with MDD and PTSD and anxiety by a VA ps…

hypertension Hypertension C&p Exam And Other Appts W/incorrect Bp Readings
I just received my BBE full of denials, and I see the reason my hypertension was denied. The C&P doctor shaded my bp readings. She only had 1 reading out of the 4 she took. I haven't had one bp reading below 144/102 since Dec 19 14. I even started writing down all of my BP readings and even recorded one nurse on my phone saying if the BP pressure was to high I would have to do paperwork and send you to er, so sit their and don't move 15 min late she took bp again and that was the only one I didn't see. "Memphis". This would be considered evidence that I need but then there's their word against mines. The VA even have the wrong date of when my C&P was...What's goin…

ptsd As Likely As Not?c&p Exam Disaster...
I went and got a copy of my exam from the st.llouis va medical center today...and it was not what I expected. First she denied I had ptsd (for combat related and also personal assault and it was mostly due to depression..then for my mental conditions she wrote major depressive disorder with anxiety distress and also wrote down alcohol use disorder. ..to make things worse she ONLY viewed my va medical records and not my whole claim file due error issues with the system..and at the remarks area, she wrote that "her symptoms appear to be related to current psychosocial stressors and ruminate depressive thoughts of self blame related to her military service. Thus, it is opined…

Missed C&p Due To Uninformed Reschedule
I have been waiting over a year and a half for my C&P... I finally got my exam scheduled, however it was in the middle of a big move so I had it rescheduled from May 29th at 2:30 to June 2nd at 2:30. The lady that rescheduled it apparently screwed up as it was a 2 hour exam and that 2:30 slot was only 1 hour open... so she rescheduled me for 8 that morning instead and didn't notify me. That morning on the 2nd at 8:10 she called me asking if I was coming in for my appointment, to which I explained that she had set me up with a 2:30, and she said I should have received and reschedule call informing me of the error. I said I was more than happy to come in now, but it wil…

C&p Exam Team
Does the medical person doing the exam have the exam reviewed by the C & P unit director prior to it being submitted to the VARO? I remember in old days, there was a senior doctor in charge of this team and he/she had to sign off on each exam. Is this still being done?

C&p Pending, Surgery Outside Va?
So I'm currently waiting to get my C&P exam (been waiting for almost 2 years), however my wife is in the military and I have doctors outside the VA system. Today I was looked by an ENT doctor concerning my nose issues, which is also something on my claim. I had surgery on my ship to open up my nasal passage due to an injury in relation to my service, however I have noticed its closing up again. Today they found that I have a 70% airway blockage and I have had closed nasal bone fracture for quite some time and they recommended me for surgery. I went ahead and collected their paperwork on this. So I have a few questions concerning this situation. Is this paperwork …

ptsd Advice On Upcoming C&p Exam
Hello everyone. I have an upcoming C&P that is scheduled in a few weeks. I filed for PTSD (both combat and physical assualt related) and mental condition. I am a little nervous because I don't know what to expect once at the exam. I know I have to be honest about everything, but I want to be sure I leave nothing out. This has been a long two years of this claim pending. Any advice on what to do or not to do while at or before the exam?
