Cardiomyopathy "congestive Heart Failure"
Hello, I have the below problem and was told that I might face a MEB board. My ejection fraction at first was 18% and now it's 25%. I'm going to have a implantable cardioverter-defibrillator (ICD) placed in my chest in Jun 10. Correct me if I'm reading this the wrong what. Is the below stating that a person with a automatic implantable Cardioverter-Defibrillator (AICD) in place, receives a 100% disability rating? 7011 Ventricular arrhythmias (sustained): For indefinite period from date of hospital admission for initial evaluation and medical therapy for a sustained ventricular arrhythmia, or; for indefinite period from date of hospital admission for ventricula…

ptsd Concerned
I'm troubled because I am HYT 8 years. I have major issues with my left knee and problems with flat feet and lower back problems. The reason why I haven't made rank because I have PTSD. It’s been a struggle with my PTSD because I keep forgetting stuff and the majority of time I don't care about nothing. I am being boarded for OA in my left knee and bilateral flat feet. My question is since I am HYT over 8 years will the MEB just dismiss my case discharge without benefits or award me a low rating since I am HYT??? I have posted at the PEB and MEB site but I am hoping maybe someone on this site has been through the same situation as I. Thank you

ptsd What To Do When They Lie Outright?
Just reviewed results of my C&P exam for PTSD. The doctor lies repeatedly, and very obviously. So blatant is the lying that he even contradicts himself. Believe me, it is almost unbelievable. Have received the above on request, but no rating yet. Anyway, what do I do with a nut job like this?

ptsd Best Time To Make Claim
Hi all. I am wondering when the best time is to make a claim for PTSD and Bipolar disorder. I am currently going through an outpatient PTSD treatment program through the VA. Likewise I am being treated for Bi-Polar, also through the VA. I will be getting realeased from the NG later this year. First I have to complete an MED. So my question is, should I make a claim through the VA now or wait until after I have completed the PTSD treatment through the VA and the MED? Thanks again for any help provided, Craig.

ptsd Arng Ptsd Claim
New to the site, tried posting and do not see my post so I will try a second time. VA diagnosed Chronic PTSD, MDD, GAD, and agoraphobia. Trauma occurred 25 years ago while on weekend drill with army national guard. I served in the Regular Army also. Just want to know do I have the same rights for disability compensation since I was on weekend drill status. File my claim 4 months ago and said they could not see where this happened on active duty. I am nervous about this process and my PTSD is kicking into overdrive worrying that I will be denied. Had symptoms all those years and thought I was the "crazy uncle" in the family. Thank God some veterans noticed my behavior and …

ptsd Getting Released From Guard
Hi, I am confused about the discharge/retirement process. With 17 years service in the guard and active army I am going to be released, with over 15 years of good service. My BP diagnosis happened while I was off of active duty, but still in the National Guard. My questions are the following: 1. With a military retirement due to mental health reasons, does that mean I would still undergo an army/VA rating percentage? 2. I do not understand retirement vs severance vs disability. My discharge is due to mental health reasons. I have bi-polar and ptsd. The bi-polar is the cause of the discharge. 3. I am appealing the decision to be released from the mil…
