ptsd Ptsd For Military Intelligence
Are there any Vietnam vets who were undercover in Vietnam for military intelligence who did not experience a PTSD stressor event as defined by the VA yet developed PTSD symptoms due to constant stress and fear? Were you able to make a successful claim and how? Thanks.

diabetes What Gives?
Yo...I had an appointment for a C&P exam yesterday. Filed claims for PTSD, Diabetes, leg and back injuries, hearing. Got to exam and the only thing that happened was the Dr. asked me a few questions about my knee, gave my knee a short lookover and said we were all done. What gives??? I was told by the VA that my claims were before the decision rating board. Am I getting screwed? The knee and my hearing were the least of my worries. I am living in a tent at the moment and need benefits $$$$$.

ptsd A New Excuse From Dept. Vet. To Denie Ptsd
I just read this, I believe they are looking for another excuse to denie PTSD to our veterans... I lived with one combat veteran and I know what is like.... My husband ptsd is not because of something in his childhood or something in his brain or blood. It is a result from his combat. We need to fight this together... http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20091120/ap_on_...predicting_ptsd

I was very unhappy with this as 1. I dont think i am psychotic & 2. they made me very sleepy and out of it. After being away from home for so long the last thing I wanted to do was sit on a couch at home and veg out. I called back and tried to speak with the Dr or assistant but only was able to le…

Psychologist Today
I have been seen my psychologist for two years, mostly dealing with my VA non-compensatory degenerated spine anomalies. Last session I began talking about an incident in the Gulf war. My memories of that incident came out like water running down a stream. I want to continue on those topics in the Gulf war. Some are fresh, some hazy. My spine is going to take it's course for the worse, ain't no talking going to stop the physical or emotional pain. How do I keep it cool when my mind is racing? And going up against a psychologist that can manipulate a conversation with years of knowledge? I have one diagnosis of adjustment disorder with depressed mood , chronic. But, it is a…
