PTSD Raiting 70 or 100%
History, Going on for over 12+ years since left the militray .First raiting 50% Went for increase this was from my DBQ C&P .. Thoughts all? See below Is this 70 (most would say 70). could it sway 100%? If you think 100% do you believe sched or temp? I did not apply for IU but I am told they have to consider it anyways. The doctor also used some verbage that was interesting It is not possible to differentiate what portion of each symptom is attributable to each diagnosis because all of the veteran'schronic PTSD and bipolar symptoms have been chronic, progressive, biologically and behaviorally interactive, and thesymptoms are concurrent and overlapp…

PTSD
I had the VA evaluate me for PTSD and I was diagnosed with anxiety and depression. I then hired an outside PTSD Psychologist with my own insurance evaluate me and I was diagnosed with moderate PTSD. So now what? Do I get him to type me up a letter of my diagnosis to upload in my files for compensation? Also, he’s fine with annotating that I’m diagnosed with Severe PTSD instead, but all of the paperwork have already been sent to my insurance that says Moderate PTSD. So will the VA Compensation guys double check with my insurance or will the letter that says Severe PTSD suffice?

VA Lies and Obstruction in PTSD CLAIMS. YOU HAVE 24 months from discharge to file a claim
Hello Everybody Thank you to the website creators. I am within the claims industry and I need to relay important information so that we can give these wanky civilians their "ARTICLE 15" for not doing our paperworkings right. 38 U.S. Code § 1702 The FEDERAL STATUTE specifically states that Periods after WORLD WAR 2 and following periods of war: mental illness after Persian Gulf War Are deemed SERVICE CONNECTED for mental illness or psscosis THAT WAS SUFFERED IN THE LINE OF COMBAT or INSTRUMENTALITY OF WARFARE has 2 YEARS + (TWO YEARS ) from discharge or release to make a claim and shall be deemed to ha…

FND or conversion disorder
Hi, I been dealing with PTSD for several years now and my condition has been worsening. I have a 70% disability rating for PTSD. I used to drink a lot and was isolated from society for years. I have attempted to end my life many times and finally reached a point where my family did an intervention and had me do AA and metal health meetings. I stopped drinking and been sober for 2 months now. However other health issues came up. I been having seizures, cannot see out of my right eye, lost movement of my right hand and feet and I’m confined to bed. I only get around with a wheel chair. The doctor told me this is due to PTSD and I have Functional Neurological Disorder which…

PTSD and multiple addl Mental issues. SMC(s)
Hello, reading that VA rates all mental health conditions using same diagnostic criteria. Throughout my files I have diagnoses of a dozen mental health issues such as Major Depressive Disorder, but connected only for PTSD. (Separately I am connected for TBI). I read vets with, ex. 50% PTSD and 30% Major Depressive disorder would have them combined under one diagnostic code for 70% for one condition (per CCK website). In this case, is it possible to file separately for each of my mental conditions? If you had a bunch of mental issues, and they combined to reach 100%, would that be considered a single disability that you could add to another 60% to apply …

Ptsd increase for bipolar
I have been rated 40% since 2007: 30 ptsd, 10 shrapnel scar, 0 planter fasciitis. I received some counseling and medication at a VAMC until 2008 before stopping meds. I restarted antidepressants and sleeping med in 2011 through my family doctor. I went back to therapy in 2018 with a private therapist. She agreed with the ptsd diagnosis and also diagnosed bipolar. I stayed in therapy for 1 year and have continued on meds. In 2019 I went through marriage counseling. I am about to file a hearing loss and tinnitus claim. My question is if I should file for ptsd increase due to the bipolar? Would a letter from my family doctor saying he was treating me for ptsd sinc…

Secondary to PTSD claims question
Good morning everyone, I just got rated at 70% for PTSD after previously being denied as not service connected. For the first claim, I was going through a company (VAclaimpros) which was a big mistake. I appealed and just simply told the examiner what I was going through as well as my family. I submitted a letter from my wife and a report from when I was Police Officer stating that I had PTSD and the list of medications. I have previously been denied claims for sleep apnea and tinnitus. They acknowledged that I did have sleep apnea from my personal medical records and the UPPP surgery I had years ago but said it was not service connected. They also acknowledged my he…

PTSD Claim
I'm hoping someone could help me with this question. I have two different PTSD events that occurred during my service. One was combat related and the other was non-combat. Do I need to file two different claims or should I just file one and submit my evidence with nexus? Thanks
