tdiu Ssd And Tdiu
Hello everyone, I am currently rated 90 percent. 40 IVDS, 40 Bladder issues and 50 MDD. Along with some others. I was granted SSD last April, they granted it due to my back issues only and did not take in account the other service connected issues.I have no other medical issues other than my service connected ones. I applied for TDIU 18 months ago and it has moved to Decision status on E-benefits. My question here is, I am rated 40 percent for my back issues with the VA but I was granted SSD just on that alone. What weight will the SSD have when they decide TDIU? I am also in VOC Rehab and will graduate in 7 months, can the VA deny the tdiu becuase I am a…

Recent 70% Rating & Iu Claim
USAF retired in 1996 & 15 years later submit VA Claim for issues, 3 of which granted over the next 18 months; Dermatitis - 60%, Broken toe - 10%, Tinnitus - 10% Total - 70% (A couple of claims pending) The award letter contained a VA Form 4107 with many possible eligibilities, one of which stating one may apply for IU. Checked the VA website & it said if rated @ 70% with one at least disability at 40% meets qualification to apply. Applied and a C&P doc that appears to be from India or Pakistan attempts to dismiss me with out examining my red haired, fair skinned dermatitis. After 3 minutes of looking at the computer he makes eye contact and says, "You are …

ptsd Advice On When To File Tdiu Please?
Here is my situation: Currently rated 90%- 70% PTSD, 40% spinal fusion/DDD/IVDS, 20% right knee, 10% radiculopathy. I am 42, a firefighter and have had to have 2 meniscus repair knee surgeries on the SC knee in the past year after falling down the stairs at a fire. That is on top of having the same operation in 2006 after another work related injury. That earlier injury led to my knee being moved from a 0% rating to 20%. Things haven't gone well recovey-wise and the doctors have determined that i am not and will never be able to return to firefighting because of the knee, especially when combined with having a spinal fusion. They also diagnosed a cartilage tear in …

Calls From Va
Today I received a call from the VA concerning my Cholesterol level they were very concerned that my LDL was 300. I have had high cholesterol for sometime. I was wondering if this has anything to do with my claim for increase in disability and TDIU. I had to C&P's in Viera, FL 80 miles from my home. The last C&P I had was done in Orlando. Why did they send me so far away for C&P; and does the phone call have anything to do with this as it has never been one before.

ptsd A Year Into Claim
I filed for 100% April 24, 2011. After many IRIS inquires about my claim it was finally passed to a supervisor. Once it was passed to the suppervisor that same day a letter was sent to my previous employer. It also stated I need to send VA another form for a release of Dr. records. They said they contacted my VA Medical Center and a appt will be scheduled for me. So after a year and probably 8 IRIS Inquiries were only at this point? They also want statements in support of my claim that my PTSD has gotton worse. I filed for financial hardship in November and that was to expidite my claim. However, it seems someone dropped the ball. I had a neurophycological eval…

tdiu Tdiu & Form 21-4192
VSO sent me TCIU forms and one of them is a 21-4192. i quit working in 2007-2008. was awarded 100% by SSD hearing that went back to 2008. i don't see any reason to contact a prior employer whom i haven't worked for in close to 5 years. my SSD hearing award shows all this. do i really have to send this form to my last employer whom i haven't worked for in those many years?

diabetes How To Get Earliest Effective Date For Tdiu?
After many years of walking what seemed like near the cliff with my claim, I am finally rated, with TDIU deferred. I am a bit confused about this and am requesting any thoughts on what I can do to get the earliest date possible, if TDIU were to be granted. The POA that I spoke with today confused me even more when I asked if TDIU were granted, would the date go back to when I submitted my VA application for service connection (2005). I was told that VA looks at when the TDIU was inferred, or mentioned in documents, which makes it more confusing in my mind. If in an actual rebuttal from me, it would have been in 2010 when I successfully disputed a C&P where it was inad…

tdiu Tdiu C&p Vha Examiner Remarks
Good evening, All..... A few weeks ago, I had a C&P exam for 2 remaining medical issues that had been deferred from my initial Disability Claim ~ Oct 2011. The issues were deferred for further testing…COPD (PFT) & CAD (Interview based METS testing, EKG)….When these 2 issues were deferred, I was still awarded 80% for my other medical SC disabilities on this initial claim……I filed for TDIU a few months after the awarding of 80%, so this recent exam was to cover the additional testing for COPD/CAD & TDIU.....The exam took place at a VA Center, per my VARO… The exam took ~45 mins with the Examiner….This was followed by a PFT, EKG, chest and lower back x-rays wi…

ptsd 80% To Iu Pending Approval
My IU claim has been pending approval since 6-1-2012. I haven't worked since mid 2010. I got rated at 80% for ptsd / asthma last year and shortly after getting SC'ed I filed the IU claim. Are there any tricks that I can use to get a person on the 800# to tell me if it is approved or denied?

My Claim Has Been Decided
Just looked on E-benefits and my claim has moved out of the Decision phase and placed in the Pending Decision Approval The recommended decision is reviewed, and a final award approval is made. If it is determined that more evidence or information is required, the claim will be sent back in the process for more information or evidence. The suspense is killing me, Hopefully i will hear something before the new year. NJ
