tdiu Doctor's Statement For Tdiu
Hi All, The vet I am helping went back to his orthopedic doctor and his doctor would not use the words at least as likely as not because he felt that his statement was strong enough. This is the doctor's statement: "The patient comes into the office for evaluagtion of several different problems. The patient is a 73 year old male who comes in primarily for pain in b oth knees and lower back. The had previous left knee surgery in 1954, service connected where he was injured. it is unclear what was done, but he has two screws still remaining in the knee afterward. He has had progressive knee pain over the past years, which because of the way he has been walking has s…

tdiu Awarded Social Security And Denied Tdiu For Same Disability-wtf?
Hi, I am hoping that someone can provide some insight regarding my situation. I am currently rated at 70% for bipolar disorder and was awarded Social Security benefits for the same disability. A few weeks ago, I was notified that my claim for TDIU was denied. It took six months for the Boston regional office to write a short paragraph stating that I was denied benefits because I quit my last job and because none of my former employers returned the Form 21-4192. In reality, however, my former employers did return the form and this fact was acknowledged in writing through IRIS. Also, I “quit” my job pursuant to medical advice from my VA healthcare providers. Fur…

tdiu Va Wont Consider Tdiu Until They Get A Formal 21-8940 Tdiu Application.
In another TDIU post Berta posted this: "VA wont consider TDIU until they get a formal 21-8940 TDIU application." A day or two ago i found a similar statement on a non-hadit page. i am awaiting a hearing date on a NOD from my june 09 award which i sent in a disagreement about the %. My thinking was: get 70% so i can ask for 100% TDIU. Mostly i've been told that i can not have 100% with my current 50%. i did not ask for TDIU. Never knew about nor was it suggested to me by any of my POA's to submit this form/request. i have already claimed to be an idiot. My brain must not be working right but when a veteran goes to a poa, a VSO who is trained to know VA law; …

tdiu Tdiu Doctor's Opinion - Would This Work
Hi All, The vet I am helping orthropediac doctor wrote under History that: The patient is a 73-year old male who comes in primarily for pain in both knees and lower back. The patient had previous left knee surgery in 1954 service connected where he was injured. He has had progressive knee pain over the past years, which because of the way he has been walking has started to affect his other knee as well as his lower back. tdiu Tdiu Claim?
I'm a combined 80% (soon to by 90%) vet with one service connected disability rated at 60%. I want to file for TDIU but I need some help and this website has helped a lot but need other answers. I can't quit my job because we can't survive without my current paycheck but would get by on TDIU and my wife making a little cash doing ebay selling. What's the best option for me and TDIU? File a claim while working? Thanks for all your help, it is much appreciated.

tdiu Retro Pay
Receive the VAs response to my claim. It was denied for TDIU, but granted Temporary 100 from surgery. Just a question though. If my claim for Temp 100 was submitted in December and they awarded it in February, I'm I to be awarded for December and January as well? They paid me the difference from February to May, but not December and January.

tdiu Tdiu
In June of 2009, I was medically retired as a Federal Corrections Officer, and 2002 I was medically retired from the military. Both retirement were due to service connections. I filed for IU in June of '09, since then I have underwent TKR on the same knee. Along with the IU paperwork, I took it upon myself to inform VA in a letter that I was medically retired twice due to SC. I had to undergo a full exam of all SC conditions. My new GAF score is 52 from 60. My current rated disabilities or as follows; Major depressive disorder 10%, knee condition 30%, limited motion of spine 0%, facial scars 10%, clavicle impairment 10%, asthma 30%, hypertensive vascular disease 10%, limi…

ptsd How Do I Get Declared Unable To Work

How do I go about discussing this with my therapist or should I say how do I go about getting to her say I cannot work. I have ptsd and am most days not able to leave home. When I do I am nervous to the point of not being functionable. Any info from you guys would be appreciated.

tdiu Is Ssdi Good Evidence To Support A Tdiu Claim?
Ok so the VA sent me a rating letter where they said my condition is at 70% and retroactively paid back to 2001. SSDI initially awarded benefits for the same exact condition in 2003 and has reevaluated me in 2005 and has continued the benefit. So is this SSDI benefit enough evidence to support a TDIU claim? I only recently received the VA rating in September 2009, so can I make a case for receiving TDIU retroactively since the initial VA decision is less than a year old?
