  1. VA Agents List 2018

    Here's something to keep at your fingertips, folks. I have to turn away about 90 % or more of those who come to me now because of my workload and prior commitments. However, there are a lot of my fellow agents who are eager for work. Sometimes it's just an inability to connect with the one that "fits" you. I don't advertise as I don't need to.   3. Finally got some RAMP news TODAY!

    Today marks Day 92 since I opted into RAMP and today eBenefits went from Claim Received status straight to Pending Decision Approval. These Appeals are all HLR with requested Informal TeleConference, which has still yet to take place. I am just wondering if anyone else has got to this point and an Informal TeleConference either happened after this notice was given or never happened at all? I said I would let everyone know when I knew something. Status of Your Claim PENDING DECISION APPROVAL Submitted: 05/10/2018 (Appeal) Estimated Completion: 08/27/2018 - 09/17/2018

  4. A judge is reviewing your appeaL

    Has anyone noticed when you finally make it to this stage on ebenefits the date changes when it’s worked on, so far it’s changed 3 times in one week drives me nuts does it mean anything? My appeal which began in 2011 is finally getting the dust brushed off and passed around...they granted everything in 2016 but remanded two issues which went to the AMC denied and now back at the Bva.

  7. Remand for bad C&P exam.

    I just got a remand on my appeal for a bad C&P exam. They said the examiner didn't review my service records. Does this mean the VA is going to reschedule me for a C&P exam and how long do you think this may take them? Also, do you think the VA will be trying to do C&P exam for other disabilities that have nothing to do with my appeal?

  8. When a Judge assigns an appeals to their supervisor

    My traditional appeal has been going in awkward direction. I know eBenefits is not reliable but in my case it has been because I confirmed my changes with the BVA ombudsman.  I’ve been been battling back and forth with the BVA for 25 years. However, I’m just caught of guard with the BVA’s recent development.   10. Reconsider or NOD?

    I have read quite a few post about NOD, appeal, BVA CACV etc. Just received denial on bunch of contentions. I'm reluctant to post denial letter fear of retaliation etc. Anyhow is a quick send of a Reconsideration request and about a 10 or a dozen pieces of extra documents that did not appear in the evidence list. Some were uploaded to eBenefits but not mailed in.   11. Appealing and effective date I need help

    Good morning veterans After four years I finally receive my NOD Rating decision ,and I’m happy with this Reading decision, but I Disagree with the effective date . I have proof to show it should it should be an early date So , I decided to appeal the Effective date, I am not a good writer , And there is no VSO near me, so I have to do this on my own ,Where can I find samples of statements Or good written arguments that will help me write my own statement.   12. What does it mean board reviewing cases August 2015,my case was filed July 2015

    The VA says its reviewing cases of August 2015, my case was given a docket number July 2015. Would this mean that they have look at my case because are now doing the next month August 2015? If so, how long will they take to review my case and give to judge?

  13. How to Appeal a RAMP decision

    I opted into RAMP the first of May, however my VSO did not sign the paperwork and it was not submitted till 5/17. I had two issues with my claim. First they did not rate my knee, which was my original injury that has now caused issues with my back and left knee. Secondly, in 1980 the VA removed my 0% rating that the VA had given me in 1976 and totally removed my 'service-connected' injury. This is a CUE as they should have upgraded my disability, rather than totally remove it. Yesterday I learned that the VA has approved the rating on my knee. This would take my 80% P&T to 100% P&T. I do see that there are benefits that come with 100% P&T, but …

    Knowledgeable people who don’t have time to read all posts may skip yours if your need isn’t clear in the title. I don’t read all posts every login and will gravitate towards those I have more info on. Use paragraphs instead of one massive, rambling introduction or story.

    Again – Make it easy for others to help. If your question is buried in a monster paragraph, there are fewer who will investigate to dig it out.

    Post a clear title like

    ‘Need help preparing PTSD claim’ or “VA med center won’t schedule my surgery” instead of  ‘I have a question."

    This gives members a starting point to ask clarifying questions like “Can you post the Reasons for Denial of your claim?”
