Gulf Ware: Ibs / Gastro Issues C&p
This is from my Gulf War C&P Exam. Any thoughts on possible rating are appreciated. I didn't feel as if the doctor was as thorough as he should have been, as he asked very few follow up questions and seemed in a hurry to get me out of there. He checked off "occasional" even though I told him this is an every day thing. Intestinal Conditions (other than surgical or infectious), including irritable bowel syndrome, Crohn's disease, ulcerative colitis and diverticulitis Disability Benefits Questionnaire Name of patient/Veteran: XXXX Indicate method used to obtain medical information to com…

Ibs Presumptive And Ao Presumptive
I am a gulf war vet... I have one documented visit to medical after the gulf war for IBS. I was given over the counter meds at this visit. got out of service in 97 every since that visit I have taken OC meds for this issue, since not much else can be done other than watching what I eat. I have seen private docs for this issue getting out of service. Not very often but I do have paper work from docs stating so I submitted this documentation along with a claim for IBS to the VA I was denied I thought IBS was a presumptive, so I did not even think that this would be an issue for being a denial. I took my awards letter (I had other claims in that did go…

Va Doctor Says Gulf War Vets Not Getting Effective Treatments
WASHINGTON — As Department of Veterans Affairs physician Nancy Klimas told an agency panel Tuesday about the many successful ways her clinic has been treating Gulf War illness, veterans have responded with a combination of hope and anger. The hope came because her clinic appears to be making headway in using research-based methods to treat veterans with the disease, which consists of symptoms ranging from headaches to memory loss to chronic fatigue, and plagues one in four of the 697,000 veterans of the 1991 Persian Gulf War against Iraq. The anger came because, although Klimas had been using at least some of her methods for a decade, none of them have been disseminated…

ptsd 100% Ptsd Unemployability
Hi all, I am A marine Vet who served in 2003 on the ground in Iraq as first invading force. SO several months ago was awarded 100% PTSD employability with possible future exams to re-avaluate my condition. They tell you so little about what the guidelines are for everything, but am I unable to work at all based on this determination? DO odd jobs and part time count against me now? Secondly, I was awarded for "PTSD" but I have so many problems including internal bleeding, diarrhea for years, eosinophilic esophagitis (swollen esophpogas) and just many other physical issues I think are related to Iraq. I don't know if I should take the 100% rating regardless …
