He sits at home at all times, and when he goes out to a medical appointment, he becomes even more exhausted and has to go to bed afterwards. ptsd Request A Review Of My Recent Ratings And Whether I Qualify For Smc-S
Greetings fellow veterans, This is my first posting so hopefully I have not violated any rules on how to ask a question...if I did, I apologize in advance. Here is my current situation. Retired from the Air Force last Sept and just received a 100% rating for the conditions below. My VSO wants to pursue smc-s but after reading various postings, I am very confused on if I even qualify. I would greatly appreciate any comments/advice any of you have on this matter: Ptsd--70% Migraines--50% Sleep Apnea--50% Ibs--30% Ivds--10% Radiculopathy--10% Sciatica--10% Tinnitus--10% Arthritis--10% All conditions were rated P&T except for the Ptsd which I am scheduled …

tdiu Pretty Sure They Gave Me Smc S
My claim just went to complete on ebenefits. By doing a little math in pretty sure they awarded me SMC S. I thought something like this would be used for p&t vets or tdiu vets. But I am just scheduler. I haven't received my bbe yet so I can't be sure, but my AB8 letter still has a 5 year appointment. Is there anything I have to do now that I have the S? Or are there any other benefits I can ask for now? Like having my wife be my caregiver if I have to quit working? Just need that p&t first. Thanks.

Smc-S To 1994
Every once in a lifetime, you have to stand up for what they have been denying you for twenty years. Here's a primer on the perfect way to write a Writ. Belts and suspenders on every request so there can be nothing misconstrued. VA loves to feign confusion on what you are asking for. I expect they won't have any trouble reading this one. It hit the CAVC's doorstep yesterday morning at 1153 Hrs L. Bob, Leigh and Allison got their copies today as well. On the heels of Gene Groves' Writ, it ought to make quite a splash. https://asknod.wordpress.com/2015/01/09/cavc-the-birth-of-a-writ-act-ii-scene-1-the-pucker-factor/ Clear Prop.

I'm I Smc (S) Eligible
I contacted a VA attorney to see if I qualified for smc (s). He replied with the following: As for SMC(s), you will need a 100% rating and a separate 60% rating (for a single condition different from the 100% rating). Unfortunately, we can't add other ratings to get the combined 60 for SMC(s). Here is my story. I've been 100% P&T since 2008. My ratings are below 100% -Asthma 30% - Skin disorder 10% - rt knee 10 % - left knee 10 % -right 5th finger injury 10% - onychomycosis and tinea pedis 10% -tinnitus I believe I qualify for smc (s) from what I've read and researched. Please advise if I'm wrong. My asthma is permanent in nature and will not improve per …

Heard Back From Ro After Emailing Ms Hickey About Smc-S
I sent an email to Ms Hickey yesterday outlining my disabilities which meet the 100% IU, P&t + 60, back to 9/24/2002. I received an email at 430 pm from Ms Hickey's office saying they contacted my RO, in Maine to look into it. I just received an email from the director stating that when I was awarded back in 2003 they did not over look it as it was before Bradley vs Peake. If I wanted to claim SMC s to fill out the attached 526ez form and send it with pertinent private med records. Isn't this supposed to be inferred and why would I send private med records? How should I proceed?

Do I Qualify For Smc S?
I was recently granted 100% P&T. I have one rating thats 100% SC and I have a bunch of individual ratings that add up to 59 which should round up to 60. When VA decided my claim they didn't say anything about SMC but after doing some reading here I believe it should have been inferred last year when they decided my claim. Since it hasn't been a year should I ask for a reconsideration or file a NOD. How should I proceed?
