http://www.pbm.va.gov/NationalFormulary.aspx VA Prescription Benefits Many veterans prefer to have their prescriptions filled at the St. Louis VA Medical Center to take advantage of the pharmacy benefit available to veterans. The VA Medical Center Pharmacy cannot fill prescriptions written by non-VA physicians. Patients are eligible for medications only for those conditions for which they are receiving active treatment at the VA Medical Center. If you have ever wondered why you were not offered certain medication by your VA provider, there may be several reasons. The VA uses something called the national pharmalary list.. check it out here. but first read the rest of this post. http://www.pbm.va.gov/apps/VANationalFormulary/ what I have found personally is that due to costs of certain medications, even though they are on the national pharmalary list, these medications will not be offered to you by your care provider. heres an example. many pain sufferers who have tried various medications such as opiate based, and other meds such as gapapentin, tramadal , ect have not gotten much relief. There is anothe…

"Candyland" hearing in Tomah Today "MADISON, Wis. — Like flashes of lightning, sharp pains strike 39-year-old Jason Bishop's left arm several times a day, causing him to writhe in agony. Frustrated by his chronic suffering, Bishop has struggled to find relief at several Department of Veterans Affairs hospitals, including an embattled medical center in Tomah. He said the VA hospitals have offered him treatment, including prescriptions for narcotics, but few long-term solutions. "They don't fix you. They're not trying to find an answer," Bishop said. "They just control you with medication." The hospital is at the center of multiple probes after reports of narcot…

The man in this video, John Breeding, is a PHD psychologist with a private practice in Texas. A great deal of cutting-edge information about "mental disorders" is coming out of Texas now. Texas was the the first state to implement wide-spread drugging of children in the schools based on the theory that one in five Americans is seriously "mentally ill". It was called the TMAP program. It has failed, and worse, caused countless children to suffer needlessly, but TMAP has also spurred a revolution in thinking about just what is and what is not normal behavior, emotion, and reaction to stress and abuse.

I believe the US, VA medical system is still calling GWS an "undefined illness". ~Wings Mon 31 Oct 2005 (UK) Landmark Gulf War Syndrome ruling A former guardsman has won a "landmark decision" for a Ministry of Defence pension based on Gulf War Syndrome. The Pensions Appeal Tribunal (PAT) decided Daniel Martin, 35, of Luton, should be given a disability award, using Gulf War Syndrome as an "umbrella term" to cover his ailments, which are attributable to his service in the 1991 conflict. The test case could now help hundreds of ex-servicemen. The National Gulf Veterans and Families Association said that of the 7,500 veterans who have made a claim for a dis…
