Sorry if this a rehashed question. I applied for Automobile Grant (21-4502) October 11th. Ebenefits shows on benefits under Supplementary Benefits, "Entitled to Automobile Grant of up to $20,114.34 and Adaptive Equipment for your Automobile." Obviously I need to wait for the form/certificate to be sent back to proceed. My VA Driver Rehab/KT recommended Hitch lift, wheel knob, and hand controls. Plus I have 4 kids, so a minivan wouldn't really fit the bill. My question is what then? Most mobility dealers in my area sell the roll-on minivans. So can I just go to any regular dealer, pick out a vehicle, then take it to the local VA Approved conversion shop…

I would think anything is possible as long as the down payment is high enough to please the bank... years ago being self employed to the banks was like being a wild child who paid only when they felt like ...as i was self employed for most of my life ( did not work well with others..)) i always had to put down at least 20% and they basically did not care what my income was .. these days i bet if you put 30 to 35% down you will be able to start over... first i would start by asking questions of the places that place VA loans they even have a NO funding fee for disabled vets

Hi Everyone! I know a large number of low rank military soldiers who are living a miserable life after the retirement of their military job. Last year, my uncle lost his leg in a military training camp at California. Recently, he has retired as well. I just want to know that what kinds of benefits he can gain from state and federal administration? Constructive answers would be appreciated! Thank You.

Coming soon to a military base near you! I'm attaching a document that was just released that describes new access granted to service-connected Veterans (not just IU/100%) to military bases and MWR activities including Commissary and Exchange activities. There are a number of categories of Veterans and caregivers that this affects. Spread the word! Phury & Rhage Expanded Patronage.v2.docx

California AB190 was approved the first of 2009. It says that vehicles with Purple Heart license plates are exempt from paying parking meter fees. However, the individual cities must approve this, so everyone living in California should contact their local mayor and ask that this California State bill be approved in their individual cities or counties.
