Hi everyone. Since I was recently awarded a P&T status, I know that we are eligible for CHAMPVA. I would like to know what your opinions are on having CHAMPVA insurance. Would you recommend carrying additional insurance as well? We currently have private insurance through my wife's job. Also, have you run into problems finding doctors that accept CHAMPVA? I appreciate any input you may have. Thank you.

We've been throwing around the idea of moving to Colorado and I'm trying to clarify that 100% P&T are 100% exempt from property taxes. I believe this to be the case, but some validation is always helpful COLORADO - SENATE CONCURRENT RESOLUTION 06-001 Section 3.5. Hey everybody. I have a 100% disability rating and I understand that this rating normally entitles the vet to an id card for the commissary, bx, etc. However, my last enlistment ended in a bcd from a court martial. I had 3 good enlistments prior to that one. I'm not proud of this fact, but I would like to know if we are still entitled to get id cards for the commissary. Thank you all.

I see that there are several bills that have been introduced in Congress to eliminate Concurrent Receipt of retired pay and VA compensation. Does anyone have any insight as to the chances of concurrent receipt being taken away from us?
