Free Financial and Credit Counseling
OK, I was expecting a letter to update me on the status of my recent CAVC remand, instead I got a letter talking about Free Financial and Credit Counseling. I don't need free financial and credit counseling, what I need is my corrected benefits. You know the old proverb, feed a man a fish, he eats for a day but teach a man how to fish he eats for life. My thought is to feed a veteran a meal he eats for Veterans' Day but award a veteran his correct benefits, I can eat any dang where and when I want to. OK, my bad, is the VA just sending these letters out or is it my paranoia messing with me about my upcoming benefits? Since the CAVC remanded my appeal, it should not…

ATTENTION TO ALL VETERANS, SERVICE MEMBERS, DEPENDANTS!
THIS IS NOT A QUESTION. ITS A NOTICE!!!!!! I write to inform ALL SERVICE MEMBERS about a Congressional Bill that might cause major policy changes possibly affecting VA beneficiaries and their dependents. This Bill attempts to implement policies that will end VA benefits for all of us Veterans, earning over a certain amount yearly (Including; employment wages, SSDI/SSA, Retirement outside the military, etc.). THIS IS APPLICABLE TO ALL HOUSEHOLD MEMBERS!!!! I have attached a document going into details on this topic, as well as provided links for fact checking. Though Angry Cops (youtube) gives a lot of information. please, please, PLEASE read the atta…

Obtaining TSA clearance for air travel
I am permeant, total, IU 100% for several years now, I'm no 70w years young 😉 . I have heard somewhere that I could get a TSA number for myself & spouse at no cost, if I have a Commissary Letter, but I don't know if that is the way to go since there has been changes to eligibility to commissary privileges. I have online eBenefits Premium, not sure if that will help. Traveling from Boston to Hawaii mid February/2022. Where would I go if I have to go the commissary route - there is a Hanson AFB here near Boston. Thanks & Mahalo

Missing signature
Claim submitted in August 2022 for Dependency. Missing Signature was required on one of the pages which VA sent back for me to sign in November 2022. Why did VA restart the whole claim from November instead of it's original date in August?

BDD claim came back 100% still questions
My claim just came back after separating a few months ago and I'm blessed that it was 100%, after 11 reconstruction surgeries another next week and a pending back and neck fusion, I feel this is fair. However, I never got a decision in the letter for sleep apnea, my hernia (which is the operation next week), or the scaring on my lungs (chronic bronchitis). They were all claimed, DBQs were submitted by the contractor and even in the reference section but they are ignored in the decision letter. What do I do?

Entitlement to pre and post surgery ratings to NOW service connected injuries.
I've been trying to find some guidance on ratings for scars and residual ratings for different grades of damage GRADE 2 and GRADE 3 on knees and hips but now am curious on ratings for all items that have been service connected. Am I wrong in stating that these should have been done when service connections was established and the operative reports were in the VA C FILE. Hips, knees , and Nissen Fundlipication. I am under the understanding that it will be 0 for scarring unless higher criteria is met but pre op and post operative ratings would apply. What I am finding is a 100% temporary rating for the recovery period 4months. Am I wrong in reading this.? 5054 Hip,…
