Here's a link to a new drug I saw on the news last night Propranolol . It doesn't appear to be a drug that will help those with existing PTSD issues, but may help troops in the field who are having a hard time coping with an event or situation that could lead to PTSD in the future. It's far from a guarantee, but it does seem promising and may be perfect for military field studies to help those guys and gals before they get home and it's too late.
