While it is now known to be a real illness and is no longer a 'syndrome', (England actually came to this conclusion a few years ago) the cause is still undecided. It appears at this time to be the BP pills and sarin exposure as the more likely culprits.

Common sence and a little knowledge of government/DoD policies would allow most to come to the conclusion that this has been sidelined for years. The BP pills were and still are listed as an "experimental" drug. Clinical testing has proven it causes long term neurological damage. Low level Sarin has had simular results. Add the two together and it doesn't take a scientist to figure out the possible consequences.

Had the public known a year or two after after the War that the DoD's policy of forcing soldiers to take experimental drugs may have made thousands permanatly harmed, there would be outrage. But, keep it quiet as long as possible, let's say 14 years, and it becomes more of an 'Oops', and less of an outrage. It has worked, because the news came out in Nov '08 that BP is the most likely culprit and there is no public outrage, no media questioning, in fact most people still do not know.

We are still liars in most peoples minds.

Tomorrow (1-20-2008) is the start of a new day. Time for us, we band of brothers to hold the new administration to its words. Write your Congressman and Senators and expess your disconcern with the prevailing VA red tape crap. It only takes a second to lose life or limb. Why the big wait then?

Its taken 18 years for the Gulf War Desert Storm to begin to get any type of recognition to our injuries, lets get the word out.
