how long should this take? i have one tomorrow .my bud had one friday and did not get done til saturday.2 trips to see the c and p guy..is this the norm?

Or maybe the C&P doc questioned the claimant about his childhood

and the claimant started talking... way too long.

Mine was 2 hours, my childhood was good so they could not blame my folks.

my exam lasted 1 hour and ten minutes.he said my ptsd was severe ,i was actually in the room when he dictated to the va the results.my gaf was 50..i don't know what that is or means. he called my wife in and thanked her for supporting me through the last few years. she is my 6th wife and he told her it was commendable to stay as long as she has. he said congratulations to me and said that help would be coming my way..i hope i can believe this. what do ye say????

I have a GAF of 45, and 50 is considered severe. I think there is a link on the home page with descriptions of the GAF score and Percentages. Keep in mind that the VA is not using GAF scores only.
