Multiple Sclerosis & Coolvests

I thought I was going to have to get a referal to see a neurologist for one of these coolvests.

Any heat over 80 degrees makes me very sick, so i'm hoping this will help.

I wanted to share with MS vets how simple & quick I recieved this.

Last Monday I asked my VAMC PCP for one. He said he would check into what they are & see if he could get me one.

One week later I recieved one in the mail.

All I can say is thank you VA for this type of care & hope Vets with multiple sclerosis will look into this if they are having trouble with heat.

.........and, remember, NEVER EVER wear stripes with plaid.

What is a cool vest? Sounds like something that I need.

It's a blue sports vest that covers your torso & has pockets for frigerator packs to keep you cool in the heat. There are sheets of 2.5" X 2.5" pillows of jell that come with it to put in the fridge.

I hope it keeps me from getting sick at the lake or river when we're out with the grandkids. As it is now, I try not to be outside during the day.
