Question

if i got a diagnosis of ms within 7 years of being out of service am i eligible for compensation? i was only in the service a year in 2005 then honorabley discharged. i never left the states. are there time limitations or are only veterans of the gulf war able to get compensation?

Any veteran with MS-if they are within this criteria in this recent BVA decision- can be compensated for Multiple Sclerosis:

The presumptive date for MS is within 7 years after service, if evidenced at 10% disabling within that period.
