Gi Clinic Consult

Went to my GI clinic consult today for severe pain and (sorry to be graphic) non-stop diarrhea (for 9 days now!!) Doc ordered some lab tests, then gave me Bentyl for the diarrhea and Codiene for the pain and the diarrhea....straight Codeine; I'm going to be loopy as hell.

Oh...........and guess what test I'm scheduled for on the 19th. Yup, you guessed it.....the ol' scope. Can't get it fee-based out either---ugh. I guess, in a way...it has already scared the you-know-what out of me!!!

You wont feel a thing. The Versed and phentanol will take over in 15 seconds and before you know it, your done.

Side effect of codeine is constipation. I hope that you get better quickly
