Borderline Traits?/

Is it normal for people to be diagnosed with "borderline traits" while in their mid 50s? I thought this was a young person's problem??? What what I can determine from my research, this is an awlful long time to live with BPD. I guess getting that top secret clearance right out of boot camp holds no water.

Besides, why does VA hold that disorder with such comtempt? Oh well, what do I know???

Borderline personality is just the newest diagnosis for people who are not quite pyschotic but definitely have a mental problem. Borderline Personality is just a garbage bag label the VA and pyschiatric community uses to say a person is a royal pain in the ass but not actually crazy.
