C&p For Coronary Artery Disease

Question

Bertha my c&p exam was for CAD secondary to high blood pressure an I was awarded 10%. But the left side of my heart had a 50% blockage from my hearth cath. I had the heart cath done at a heart specialist and all of the paper work was sent in. But the VA said from their EKG that I probably had a 61% blockage. I just don't understand how they can do that when they have my heart cath. test. Thanks

The heart cath is an actual view of the heart and vessels wit the naked eye under Xray foluroscope. it over-rides any other heart test.

a 50 or 60 percent blockage is not life threatning.

The VA does not pay percentages based on the blockagepercentage. It pays based on the schedule for rating disabilities which include the following.

Cardiomyopathy

Ejection fraction

Congestive heart failure.

What if your ejection fraction from the heart cath and from the other tests?

When I said heart blockage I meant Ejection Fraction. I forgot forgot the words to use. My METS was 8.3. But it stated clearly that my left ventricular with a ejection fraction of 50.

That is a problem as it indicates a lowball.

You need to get ahead on it and insist on using the Heart Cath as evidence as it weighs more than the EKG.

It will cost you 30 percent if you dont.
