OK, my question is how do you ask VA to CUE themselves or CUE a decision they made?

Is it faster than filing a CUE yourself?

If it is an obvious error, you need to fill out a statement in support of claim and bring it to their attention. You can ask them to correct something inthe claim with this method. This is the same a a request for reconsideration.

It would not be considered a cue since it does not meet the CUE criteria but it is a cue in the makling and you should let them know the exact details.

Otherwise you have to wait until the claim has become final.
