For most of us the C&P exam is turning the corner and becoming a short timer in the VA system. Not always but most of the time.

At my VARO it has been my experience that once you get the C&P exam your rating comes pretty fast. It may not be a good rating, but you get a rating. I think things differ from VARO to VARO.

Thanks John999. I hope after 5 years it will be worth it. I know there are some who've waited much longer. Thanks again,

I had a comp&pen in June and one in August for increase on two separate conditions. Did an IRIS this week and was informed my claim was in final stage of development whatever that means. I have a copy of both exams and they are both favorable so hopefully won't be long. The timing has a lot to do with the RO's caseload.

Thanks jbasser and pete53. I guess now it's the waiting game.

Any idea how long I have to wait before I can get a copy of the exam from the VA clinic?

BB,

If your C&P was done at an VAMC, usually you can go to ROI at that VAMC about a week after the exam and get a copy of it. Sometimes if it is a MH exam they may not release the results to you,

but in most cases they do.

jmho,

carlie
