When you were diagnosed in February, did they state it was caused by your psychotropic medications? Having a Dr. to provide you with a nexus between the two will be very helpful.

They stated it was probably due to my psych meds and high blood pressure meds. I'm not service connected for high blood pressure yet.

I was diagnosed with ED in Feb of this year, if I was to put a claim in for this would they go back to the diagnosed date? Thanks.

I am getting ready to put in for it due to the chemo they gave me for Hodgkins disease, how did you go about it?

Put in a new claim for it. Then you will need a dr statement signifying you have the diag of this, and if related to medication side effects they can write that. If granted you could receive $93.00 per month more. That's what they pay for k award.

It is not as easy as you might think to get approved for it though. May get denied at first but get documentation that validates this and submit it all...and wait.
