I am wondering if anyone has been through something similar. I was awarded a P&T letter in September of 2007 and another in October of 2007. VA now says that I am not P&T, but I recently received the yearly statement of benefits and it says Permanently and totally disabled from service connected disabilities. I called the 1-800-827-1000 number, and they again state that I am not P&T. I said heck with it, and have applied for P&T based upon recommendation of my VSO. Anyone else ever go through this? Thanks very much.

Try this, go ahead and fill out the Chapter 35 application and send it in with a copy of your benefits statement since it has that you're P&T. If it processes through then you're 100% P&T.

Hello again Jerr. Now for another good one. They recently changed the unemployable rating to 100% Schedular. But a statement of benefits received afterwards states P&T. I am totally confused, but they have scheduled a Re-Exam for February, so we shall see. Thanks again for your response.
