why is it that when u get your meds refilled, they sometimes give u different size, shape or color pills from the previous month's B) meds. anyone ever notice this?

First off, they may be the wrong drug!!! You should check online to verify you are getting the right drug, "before" you take them.

Or, they found somewhere they could get them cheaper.

They buy their medication from the cheapest vendor. The pharmacy purchasing unit probably re-evaluates the cost at regular intervals, changing vendors as market costs change. In one year, I will typically get three or four different types of loratidine. I always request pills in the bottle, not the blister packs, but find that they give me what they have in stock.

I sometimes get different looking drugs because they are constantly coming out with generic versions. It's the same drug though.
