Gulf War Re-examination Limitation

Question

 This may have already been commented on elsewere, but here goes. According to the Ass press, Shinski had promised to have the gulf War veterans claims re examined, however, according to a gulf war illness task force public release memo, (released March 29, 2010) this is, by the wording contained in the memo, limited to about 30,000 veterans who served only in the actual 90/91 conflict. If this is true, all gulf war veterans have again been victims of government lip service.

There are nine new preumptives associated with Gulf War, OEF, and OIF veterans and skin issues could be a manifestation of some of them.

These are primarily parasitic and infectious diseases that could have long term health affects.

The Secretary also made the point in the press release on these 9 new presumptives that the Gulf War is not over yet and these presumptives will cover all SW Asia veterans.

The nine new presumptives are not in effect yet. The rules are still being worked. These nine are just the latest of the changes to Title 38 CFR 3.317, Gulf War illness.

Yes -you are right- thanks for clarifying that point- not presumptive yet but proposed to become presumptive.
