All I've read and learned, if a vets claim is in process, its not the best time tor request a copy. Do you have a particular and strong reason why you want a copy of your cfile just now? If not, wait until your claim is processed then submit. jmho

You are right. I ask for a copy of husband's claim folder from my local RO and was told that because the files was in Washington they could not provide a copy.

Oh right Phillip, a request can be made. my oops. Thanks to Hadit, I requested my entire cfile, took a month and later requested an update (specific timeframe) only took a few days.
