Question

I.m confused: But tats my norm.

Bottom line of Of my VA exam was a diagnosis of PTSD with secondary depression and polysubstance abuse. decission 70%.

100% UI.

My question: What is the meaning of the secondary diagnosis?

I'm sorry but I am that dumb. thanks :)

No the VA raised your 70% to 100% so you get more. Its a good thing. Do you get Social Security Disability

Does that mean without the secondary conciderations I wouldnt have rated 70% + 100 ??

I take it you have received a Rating Decision on this ? ?

It means that the decision maker could have rated you at less than

70 percent for PTSD -- BUT in considering the additional information such

as the depression that is comorbid with your PTSD - the decision maker

reasoned a 70 percent evaluation for your PTSD was warranted.

So you clearly understand this, from what you have posted:

You are rated at 70 percent SC for PTSD and are being compensated

at the 100 percent rate due to IU.

By chance did your rating decision state anything about no future exams,

P&T or Chapter 35 benefits ?
