Sandra I was denied countless times by VA for DIC- both under the 1151 claims in 1995 and then in my 2003 AO claim.

I won them all.If I add up the time it took a period of total of ten years.

If you have a valid medical claim with evidence to support the DIC -then you can succeed so don't be discouraged -

I won the 1151 without an IMO but the more recent AO claim- I felt I better get an IMO-

I had 3 IMOs and had ordered and paid for the 4th IMO when the award letter came in the mail-

I was so shocked that my evidence I finally been read by the VA that my first reaction to the award was 'so soon?'

It had been 7 years already but I thought they would continue the fight for a few more years.

I had even reminded them year after year that I was AO class action widow and even if I died waiting for a proper decision they would still have to pay my heirs under Nehmer.

Whatever the VCAA letter said you needed to send them is what will make the claim succeed.
