Congratulations. My daughter and my stepson uses Chap 35 they got different dates which was based on when they applied to initiate it with their certification from school. Once it is certified by the school the count down starts and they have 48 months of payments. The check comes in their names and it can't be direct deposit. There is no 10 year limit. I spoke to them about my now eight year old use of it and it will be available for the younger children as well up until age 26. They will simply have to apply when they are ready to use it. Hope this makes sense.

How long did it take for you claim to be approved. Mortarman

Made the claim on 29Jan2010. My VSO was informed 07JUN2010.

What type exam is done for Ed wii this effectc your rateing.

The C&P exam was very short. The doc. asked a few Q's about my heart or any history of injury to that area. Exam took 3-mins. I think what helped was the history of asking for ED meds. and my Phsyc Doc. stating one of the meds I was on cause ED. So if you have the evidence established then it's open and shut case.

Sorry, forgot to add the VA gave me a 0% rating but gave me SMC at the K rating, $96.00 a month.
