The year 2000 i filed a claim for a grade 3 shoulder separation and was denied i appealed and was granted 10% .

I appealed for a higher rating and was given 20% than i filed a claim for an increase in 2009 and was given 30%. My question is can request retro all the way back to 2000?

Sure, you can file a claim for just about anything - but will it get denied is usually my first question.

Any increase you have received for your shoulder is most likely due to, filing a claim for increase

along with some updated medical evidence.
