Question

I would like to say congrats to all fellow vets.

I recently underwent my C&P exam on July 8, 2010 everything went well with the exam. On July 9th I received my civilain medical records and I need to submit / add them to my packet. Can someone please point me in the right direction. I want to add these documents before the board makes there ruling...

Thanks

I assume # 10 and 11 have an obvious nexus (link) to your service. Then again as civilian I have been cut on barbed wire.

Do you have inservice proof of all of the other disabilities?

"17. Depression (caused by a misdiagnosed with cancer several times)"

Did the VA misdiagnose you? Several times as documented in your med recs?

Have you approached that claim as a Section 1151 issue?

Section 1151 claims are claims that arise from VA negligence or any act or omission of an act under their medical care that causes an additional disability.

If a doctor has opined that your depression is solely due to the fact VA had given you an inaccurate diagnosis several times,

this could be a potential Section 1151 claim.

If the Mil misdiagnosed you -the Feres Doctrine means they cannot be accountable for their medical errors.

During the course of these wrong diagnoses did the VA give you any meds to treat cancer that you didn't have?

All claims happened while on active duty to include the misdiagnose. I underwent my initial C&P exam last thrusday, I am currently on active duty and will start terminal leave 14 July and officially retire 1 Nov. I am looking for guidance to see if I have a good claim...

It pays to get copies of all of the C & P exams -sounds like you got many all together ???

Ask the VAMC where the exams occurred for copies of the results.

This will give you some idea of where you stand.

Do you have a vet rep or service officer helping you?

Do you have copy of ll of your inservice medical records yet?

Have you had any transition briefings yet?

As a Retiree have you been informed yet of CRDP and CRSC?

Maybe it is too soon for your transition briefings but they can be very helpful for new retirees.
