Question

I had just posted that I logged on to e-benefits and saw that my three claims were showing "closed" status. I called the 1-800 number and here are the results:

PTSD w/anxiety disorder-70%

TBI-40%

Tinnitus (granted in January ) -10%

Total rating 80%

TDIU-GRANTED!!!

I have so many people on this board I want to thank. Give me a few minutes to calm down. I just developed a bad case of anxiety and I took a xanax, In case some of you didn't know, I'm currently homeless living with someone.

Thank you, Thank you, Thank you!

Just curious, do I change my hadit rating to 80% or 100% because of TDIU?

By Jobe Quibley I think you did it.

Enjoy your vitory. Did it say anything about Chapter 35 or P and T?

Once you fine out, check Hadit to see the benefits available for P and T Veterans.

Quibley,

You can be TDIU (total disability) but not P (permanent: have future exams sceduled). But, if you are granted chapter 35 benefits then you are P&T.

Keep us informed.

Bravo Six, I haven't got my letter, was just informed by 1-800 number. Can you be TDIU and not P&T?

Yes, you can be TDIU and not P&T. When you receive your award letter, it should state no future exams, in order to be P&T! If it states future exams, then no, your not P&T!

Congrats again on a great win for you and your family! God Bless!
