Question

Another question for you folks I couldn't find the answere for; Say you file a claim for secondary injuries (back pain) due to SC injury. That claim comes back denide. Can you file another claim with the same secondary injuries (back pain) due to a different SC injury?

Would VA call that conflicting of whatever?

Cooter,

they will take what the Dr says at face value unless you go out and get a medical opinion from a private Dr yourself. Than they will likely give it little value or weight and order another opinion from one of their Dr's.

Their examination Dr's take presidence over all others. If it's favorable to you but they are dead set against giving you the award. Then they will Dr shop until they get the negitive opinion they want.

When you go to your C&P appointments make sure you take all your records to back up your claim for primary and secondary issues and point every supportive thing in those records out to the VA examiner. Their examiners opinion is your best shot at getting the award.

Since they treat vets as thieves, they assume the Dr's they go to are crooks as well.

Allan

Well said, ha, ha. It is the truth. They might as well spit in your face as well. There is a big sign at my VAMC saying "Assulting VA Staff is a Federal Crime". They need that sign because there are many vets who feel like assulting some of these people. It is great when some foreign doctor tells you you are faking.
