Medical Insurance Deductible

teejay53

Question

hi all,

i would appreciate your help with the following question.

if i have insurance lets say:

insurance pays 75% and 25% is left for me of a medical bill.

what happens to the my 25% if i have no money to pay this?

does the insurance still pay the 75%?

i have looked on the internet for this particular information and can't seem to find an answer.

again, thank you all for your help.

i have tricare standard. i am thinking of getting tricare prime, however that will not help the medicals bills i accumulated september to october 2009 from my leg amputation.

my concern is with tricare standard paying, i believe 75%. how is the remaining 25% handled i am not able to pay it?

thank you for your help.
