I did find the video and transcript of the witnesses' testimony at this website:

I was impressed with Secretary Shinseki's testimony. I'm somewhat more assured that claims being held will begin to be adjudicated starting in November, including my claim which has been pending for 15 months.

The press will often report their feelings on a matter, not the opinion of the American people. Ignore the negative press. You all deserve every penny and more. Take your compensation proudly and make your lives easier and happier.
